- London is my home city and I'm so excited to share this cinematic video with you. I had so much fun capturing this beautiful city with the new GoPro Hero 12. This short cinematic video was shot in 5.3K and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. I've shot with a range of professional cameras in my videography career but it's always a fun challenge shooting a cinematic video with a GoPro. I'm impressed how nice it turned out. You have shot one of the highest quality videos on gopro. It is fantastically high-quality, the picture is better than that of any top blogger. Other bloggers have a terrible picture from this camera, pixels are visible, very bad colors. You have processed the color perfectly, mounted it at the highest level. I am surprised that so few people have subscribed to you. The best.

You shot this in 5K, how was it going through the footage? Was this accomplished by short 10 sec clips? Or longer clips that took a strain on the computer during editing as well being 5K you are able to pull stills from this right? By the way, great footage, love the editing you did.
Hey Sam, thanks for your comment and glad you enjoyed it. I use a pretty capable MacBook Pro so all fairly smooth. I also do shoot shorter clips rather than shooting continuously. For my street photography videos I do however shoot longer pov clips and they are a bit more of a strain in the edit but all manageable. You can indeed pull stills from the video. Hey, thanks for your comment. No, I didn’t. I added the cinematic wide crop in post to achieve the anamorphic look. Hope that helps.
Amazing. What lens config did you used? Thinking about buy a GP 12, but I'm looking for avoid the lens distortion as much I can. You did it very well.
Hey! Cheers for your comment. I mainly shot in linear. I find that is wide enough for most situations without lens distortion. Hope that helps

David amazing work,outstanding. Please share some tips related to stabilize,I have Go pro 12 but i feel footage is so shaky in general. I use Hypersmooth pro subscription which helps but i really dont like it,especially in footage where the camera moves right or left,it makes something like a flashy readjust of the image when i use hypersmooth,please share as much details as possible.thanks and once more amazing video!

were you utilizing a gimbal? if not, how did you get your footage not to be jittery?
Hey Jovani, I use the GoPro’s hyper smoother stabilisation. I also shoot in slow motion so that helps too. I don’t think there is a need for a gimbal.

No, I didn’t use any filters. I shot in log and graded in PP.

What gimbal is suitable for this camera?
Hey I don’t used a gimbal with the GoPro. I find the stabilisation good enough of in the GoPro

Thanks Rudy, appreciate your comment! I shot in 5.3K, 50fps, log, 10bit, hyper smooth stabilisation and mostly in the linear format. Hope this helps.
