You're right, Kimi didn't have many problems in 03 but he did have engine problems prior to Nurburgning I think. 05 is another story.. Anyways you know much more about this than me (:.
That was Montoya's best race in his career. Winning by more than 1 minute. And also the best race for Williams-BMW, but they couldn't keep that form through the season. At that time the BMW-Williams was the best car in the field before Ferrari turned it at Monza.
correct me if im wrong but kimi was only in the lead at nurburgring when his engine blew. other then that he didn't really have a car to win the races except malysia where he thrashed the field. kimi problem was the williams worked well in the very hot weather. schumi wasn't lucky. he just dug in even tho he took a beating in the middle part of the season. then things came back to schumi towards the end of the season. dont forget schumi tyre puncture. schumi had his ret as well.
Schumi had a good first 3 races but then Williams started to take over and were murdering schumi in mid half season. I remember after this Hockenheim race everyone ruled out schumi saying that Williams and Mclaren are too strong. But Schumi proved why he was the best in his era at his peek by winning at Monza. It was do or die then Schumi he had to win. No one expected that win. At the end of the season everyone gave Schumi the respect he deserved as he was written off but won the title
correct.. also i would add idiots who are watching f1 couple of years, or dobt have a clue about details from past seasons, they are telling that Michaels ferrari was dominant from 2000-2004... Only years where Michael had more dominant cars were 2002 and 2004 season... But it looked like too much easy only because of Michael's talent... 2000- mclaren was a tiniy faster car than ferrari... 2001- williams was on pair.. and also mclaren in some races was better package.. 2003- williams was better package and mclaren was on same level as ferrari, but schumi pulled out magical moments like in USA on rain, when every point counted... also on half of season when williams was best car, he pulled out magic- stand out race was magny cours...
hey isn't it unconfortably hot for the people in the pit stops as well as the drivers to be wearing all that gear when it's a really hot day? to me it seems as if all that gear would just make you very hot.
Nostalgia aside, we can all agree that these races were SO much better than nowadays
Last race before the new tyre rules ended Williams title hopes.
And he was lucky with Kimi constantly having problems with his car..when it worked he was ridiculously fast.

Yeah Kimi had no right too be challenging for the title that year really.

Wrong FIA changed tire rules before monza favouring Ferrari as usual

the sound of these cars... i miss this sound compared to today's V8's
michael got a puncture but managed to finish 7th for 2 points what a difference they made at the end of the season
The points Schumi scored here made the difference between him and Kimi at the end of the year...
Great video

I dunno why but the older f1 engine sounds creeped me out a bit lol

Vettel vs Button
Shumi vs Trulli ? 2:46 ?

Was the background music really that necessary to have?
Yeah it sure is
Kimi Raikkonen destroyed Montoya at Mclaren in 2005 and 2006
