Well, since judges are elected, maybe go out and vote. And elect smart and rational town, county, and state leaders so they can put emphasis on good training for LEOs. If you elect garbage leaders, or don’t get out and vote, you cannot blame anyone but yourself. This is still a free country, and people can make their own decisions on who to vote for. Feel like the system is against you? Then go out there and change it, starting with literally your one obligation as a Citizen. To vote. If you can’t do that and want to just “blame the system”, then it’s on you. When you’re talking qualified immunity, generally you’re not talking federal judges or a state Supreme Court. It’s generally the local or county judges, and people are often but hurt about their local police or a judges ruling. Generally speaking that is. But it ultimately comes down to voting, because your checks and balances, like the agencies that go after crooked judges that are appointed not elected are part of a big bureaucracy. Which is put in place by elected officials.
