As a combo goes on, each hit does slightly less than its normal full damage. "weak" combo starters (like light attacks) will make each following attack do a lot less than if those attacks hit raw outside of a combo. A medium or heavy combo starter is considered a good combo starter because they don't "scal;e" the damage of each following hit as much as the weaker light combo starters. I hope this helps!

As soon as I knew Gogeta was going to be in the game, I knew I had completed my team of Master Roshi and Tien. Now seeing this mix, I'm just so freaking happy. Thanks Rath!
Something to note is that you can do a very similar mixup to blue gogeta's unifuzzy setup off of 236L off of 6H using single hit assists, except it's even scarier because of all of the options you have after 6H an d the increased reward from 6H>6H. In the SBroly video, you mentioned that he can be scary because he has many mixup options, yet most people now agree that those options can be dealt with with little patient during a match. Will the same happen with Gogeta SS4 Quadruple overhead? Will this also be just a passing thing to him?
How consistent are you guys to do it? I train against a normal character like AGohan, I have to delay the jM after the SD to the last possible frame I feel to hit that consistently. It is really hard to do in comparison of the Kid buu's ball 4ways mixup for instance.
Why does SSJ4 Gogeta get the exception of a jump cancel on his air normal on block? Do they plan on advancing jump cancelling air normals on block to buff up the rest of the cast and advance the game?
I uploaded a clip to /r/dbfz showing this "fuzzy" high/low mix with Jiren (A) covering both before and after the super dash, making it a full true blockstring. Maybe Roshi assist can fill the same niche?
I have a problem with this... If they don't block the j.M after the SD, the followup IAD j.L doesn't combo... And that... kinda sucks. If they know that, after the SD all they have to do is NOT block the j.m and that's it, no more overheads, you will whiff the j.l after the IAD :( (Am i rght?? have you tried it?) Btw! The j.L will wiff on most characters if they choose to get hit by the j.M. Hi Rath, can you make a video about the "plus/minus". I hear a lot of dbfz youtuber that says "I'm plus!" and I still don't know when I'm exposed, where I can attack and not be countered
This isn't related to the overhead, but is there a specific timing to link the jH with the jS before the flip kick? I see that combo a lot and I just skip the jH.
the goal is to have the j.H hit when you are below the opponent (so they can't fall so far that the ki-blast can't reach them anymore). At the end of a combo I try to use double jump j.L> j.M > j.H > j.S > j.214L. Instead of just doing double jump j.LLL > j.S > j.214L. The autocombo moves gogeta up too high compared to manually doing j.LMH. I hope that helps!
New day new things from gogeta ssj4, what a character😍 Actually i have difficulties air-dashing, if not using 8-4/6 with R2, it will be very slow, let alone doible air-dashing, it depends on practice or there are any tips?
Bro I literally sat down for training mode for hours practicing double tap instant air dashes combine with instant airdash overheads and I would highly recommend doing the same. the goal is to have the opponent ABOVE gogeta when he does his j.H. That way they won't fall so far below him that the ki-blast misses. So instead of ending with j.LLL (autocombo ender), use j.LMH > j.S > flip kick. They're the same moves, but if you use the autocombo LLL input at the end, Gogeta tracks upwards and makes the height difference wrong. inputting L M H manually stops him from changing height. Not sure if I explained that well, but I hope it helped!
Experience most likely. Getting hit the first few mixes will likely happen. But after you see this settup a bunch and know the options (from either experience defending or personally playing the character) . His dash macro seems to be bugged, causing this type of problem. I suggest instant airdashing manually with the 956 input, as I explain around 3 or 4 minutes in.
