Real talk, is there anyone more famous from Oshawa than Greg Snell?
Colonel Robert Samuel McLaughlin, CC ED CD (September 8, 1871 - January 6, 1972) was a Canadian businessman and philanthropist. He started the McLaughlin Motor Car Company in 1907, one of the first major automobile manufacturers in Canada, which evolved into General Motors of Canada. GMC.
Died: January 6, 1972 (aged 100)
Oshawa, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
@@gregorsnell Robert McLaughlin's son, John, invented Canada Dry Ginger Ale. I just saw that in Wiki.
GMC (standing for General Motors Company) is actually GM's truck division (formerly called GMC Truck). General Motors Canada is a different division altogether. From what I can find, they mainly manufacture Chevrolets and Buicks.
Joe Nieuwendyk is from the Shwa!! Awesome!!
I lived in the Shwa my whole life. Spent 30 yrs working in General Motors. But I never met Sam. (or Greg)
*_At first I thought it was normal, but after I watched it, I was fascinated by the beautiful natural scenery, hills, savanna, I fell in love with your adventure trip, I will wait for your next video..._*
Excellent video. The Northern lights Timelapse’s were amazing. Top drawer as always Brendan 👏
That circular swirling of the aurora was amazing - never seen anything like that before!
Wild isn't it! I wish my photos of the swirl came out better. But the video clip is cool
Amazing photos and so fun to follow on your journey! Thanks
I finally realized one of the key things I love about your channel. Besides your epic photos, it's actually a very, very well done mini documentary. Some of us have children and full time jobs and just can't get to these epic places but thanks to you, we do. And you bring us there better than any Netlix or Disney+ etc. Really enjoyed this. Thank you.
What an amazing experience! You’re a great story teller and photographer! Fun to see! Killer ending! Thanks for taking me along!
Thanks Randy!
I love the Ooyy - Calling me song, One of my favourite songs for a while
Terrific video Brendan, loved the drone work.
Fantastic ! The lights and the church were well worth rushing back to town for.
Amazing images and very informative video. Missed your vlogs, havn't watched your videos for a while as I was busy in something, it's good to see you again. Lots of love from India.
Brendan wearing Tshirt in Greenland... How many degrees was it? That first hike was amazing wih the rocks peaking through the green, the graves, really cool.
It was WARM! I think it was like 16 degrees that day we hiked.
@@BrendanvanSon I never thought that was possible there 😅
Greenlanders likely settled that distant outpost just for the halibut. But eventually, isolation in that cod-forsaken village became sole-crushing. They left after everyone kept carping about their floundering spirits.
I'll stop now.
Hahaha. Amazingly done
@@BrendanvanSon It was the statue of the fisherman hauling in the halibut. That kind of thing will always triggerfish puns.
So beautiful! What clip are you using for your camera on the front strap of your backpack?
You can see the link to that in the description in camera gear👍
What about polar bears ??
I think I'm Greenland they are farther south... Although I'm not positive
11:54 🥺
They're pretty cute!
What an awesome adventure Sisimiut was!! So sick 🇬🇱🇬🇱🇬🇱 Let's goooo 2024🤘⛰️
As I said on FB. Fantastic drone footage over the abandoned village mate 🤙🍻
@@mattorrz759 🙏🤘
Assaqutaq is pretty special! Love how prominently our blue dots featured in your video of the hike back - glad to know they were useful :D It's a stunning hike, but not exactly easy! Same for Nasaasaaq with its amazing view. Also super happy you got to see the northern lights like that. It really is magical when the wave of their dance shoots back and forth so quicky. We hope to see you back soon!
Haloo from Malaysia 🇲🇾 thanks for sharing this beautiful place..next come to mount kinabalu in sabah,Malaysia
I kiss my crush over there in Assaqutaq when i was little... Will never forget the moment
The last image was amazing. Luck: preparation meets support! Well done!

Enjoyed this Greenland series - more like the old Brendan :-)
Abandoned the year I was born 🤷🤣
Amazing location man 👌
Really cool place, eh?
Summer time os the easy part of Greenland. Try come here in the Winther season and talk about things being hard.
Would love to attempt that some time!
The images of the abandoned village are fantastic and of course who doesn't like puppies, add the words "sled puppies" to the tittle and I bet your views double😂😂😂 👍
