Real talk, is there anyone more famous from Oshawa than Greg Snell?

Colonel Robert Samuel McLaughlin, CC ED CD (September 8, 1871 - January 6, 1972) was a Canadian businessman and philanthropist. He started the McLaughlin Motor Car Company in 1907, one of the first major automobile manufacturers in Canada, which evolved into General Motors of Canada. GMC.
      Died: January 6, 1972 (aged 100)
      Oshawa, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦

@@gregorsnell Robert McLaughlin's son, John, invented Canada Dry Ginger Ale. I just saw that in Wiki.
GMC (standing for General Motors Company) is actually GM's truck division (formerly called GMC Truck). General Motors Canada is a different division altogether. From what I can find, they mainly manufacture Chevrolets and Buicks.

I finally realized one of the key things I love about your channel. Besides your epic photos, it's actually a very, very well done mini documentary. Some of us have children and full time jobs and just can't get to these epic places but thanks to you, we do. And you bring us there better than any Netlix or Disney+ etc. Really enjoyed this. Thank you.

Greenlanders likely settled that distant outpost just for the halibut. But eventually, isolation in that cod-forsaken village became sole-crushing. They left after everyone kept carping about their floundering spirits.
    I'll stop now.

Assaqutaq is pretty special! Love how prominently our blue dots featured in your video of the hike back - glad to know they were useful :D It's a stunning hike, but not exactly easy! Same for Nasaasaaq with its amazing view. Also super happy you got to see the northern lights like that. It really is magical when the wave of their dance shoots back and forth so quicky. We hope to see you back soon!
