You want to know why this performance lacks? They have spent 2 years adjusting their talents to fit a 9 person group and then 7 years performing as 9. When you take away one member 9 years of training gets thrown away. Here they are having to learn 7 years worth of material with a slight change. That's slight formation/line change can throw of everything and seem like you are learning a new song. They just wrapped up their tour at the Tokyo Dome which is a huge, impressive venue with their new choreography. They are tired, but they want to persevere, to do well to keep us Sones and each other strong. The best thing we can do for them is be patient while they adjust and continue to support them.
After Jessica they had to learn everything gain from scratch. Their parts and choreography that they have learned for past 7 years was suddenly changed. It'll take them some time to adjust to 8 members for both fans and snsd. But even if seems impossible now, I do hope to be able see all 9 perform together again. Since I really miss Jessica. :(

You are used to hear the version with Jessica in it. Of course it would sound different but it wasn't as bad as you guys make it seems to be. Some people need to wake up. If you like Jessica so much, support her. Buy her products. Attend her fansigning events etc. Don't sit here post stupid comment and bashing other members for taking up extra duty and effort to cover for her parts/lines.
For me, I am not a sone but I watch GG's performance. I don't think missing Jessica in this performance is a huge problem. They did a great job though.:D

Am I the only one who thinks it's a great vocal performance? One of the few times Tiffany reached that high notes perfectly, and that Hyoyeon slayed that dance break, they probably had little time to prepare, but this is great.
tiffany’s was great, she didnt scream. seohyun’s high note was so quiet (might just be the mic or audio. or maybe im not just used to her doing it??), taeyeon clearly struggled and cracked. at leatlst hyoyeon got more than, what 5 seconds of center? she got 40+ in here.

So many hate on these girls tsk tsk. As a sone I have to admit that this wasn't their best (so obvious though) but that doesn't mean that they can't bounce back to the top again. Now that Jessica's gone, I know that they are working twice as hard on their comeback. I know that their comeback will be better. And speaking of their comeback, I'm pretty excited. PRODUCTION is in charge of the platform for the show, it was a mess, the sound system was terrible. and the floor was really sticky so that's why i think they performed with issues, but THEY SLAYED

Jessica not performing with them is a really big problem, not just because everyone misses her and the choreo looks awkward & other stuff, but because they lost a big vocal support and it shows a lot. Yuri and Sunny's vocals aren't strong enough to fill it, and Tiffany, who is part of the vocal line, didn't really sang that much here... To me, Hyoyeon is the one who stands out the most in this performance. She always seems so full of energy!

Sunny did an alright job covering Sicas part - obviously she has a different tone to sicas so of course it'd sound a not different. But never the less she sounded good and wasn't off key. Ok, let's get things straight. 1. Their poor performances were not because of Jessica. There were multiple factors that made this a bad stage. a. KBS cameramans have shitty camerawork and audio problems, which if you have watched their music program, is not unusual. b. Members are sick, and that is not a surprise. It's flu season and FREEZING in Korea and Japan, where they've been getting ready for their tour, which I am POSITIVE that they spent more time on than this performance. And let's not forget exhaustion. c. Their outfits, though it does fit SOME members well, it may look awkward on some others. Plus the other celebrities are usually focused on their Korean promotions rather than Japanese or whatever. AOA, Girl's Day, EXO, etc. For those that handled SNSD's schedules and all that crap, the Gayo Daechukje is simply another stage performance with an extra dance break or special intro. 2. Whether or not they kicked her out or she was the one who wanted out, she's not taking the blame for anything. SNSD is. She's happily continuing on with her life, while SNSD is suffering. I am not blaming Jessica for anything, and I'm glad she's not getting too much hate, but looking back at their recent INTW perf., they showed that they didn't want anything of this to happen, yet they're being at fault. BTW, if Hyoyeon cries, then it's SERIOUS.
i wouldnt say she was happily continuing her life after being removed. All though snsd did suffer after, lets not forget jessica did. All 9 girls faced backlash but jessica was alone whilst she faced it.

I just Clicked " Mr.Marwan" and randomly here accidentally ...Just watched this group for the first time, I think they are one of the best group in Asia. So surprise a group can sing live and dance really fast and cool.
I usually never comment on youtube videos, but the comments here are so bothering. I'm so surprised how fans here become so different after Jessica left. You guys only have complaints about everything that snsd does. Of course it's sad that one member left, and fans can give disappointment to the rest of the members. However, you guys never understand that it was necessary for the snsd and sm ent. Because Jessica had her business so big, she could not work as properly as the rest of the members do. She called herself a creative director(designer), and it would be impossible to do all the snsd works and blanc work at the same time. Also, because jessica has her own brand, the rest of members could not get any commercials which is very crucial to Korean celebrities. I think they made decision for each other's best, so we can't really judge both snsd and jessica. And a lot of people here complain about this stage, and I think they did ok. Since now they are 8, they have to change literally everything. It seems easy to fill in one member's place, but as you can see, it still looks unbalanced because the choreography was created for 9 members. Also they are not just preparing for this stage. They have tons of other works that even fans don't really know about. So STOP complaining about them and move on guys. Jessica is not going to comeback to snsd in near future.

I used to think this was the worst performance they've ever done. When the huge gaping wound left by Jessica's departure was still fresh, this was unbearable to watch. But looking back from this point, after Party, I think they held together well. This performance was awesome! I loved the energy and the extended dance break. I guess I've been so used to seeing only 8 of them that I forgot there were supposed to be 9. Job well done, girls! You deserve all the good things that will ever come. Despite all that has happened this year .The girls are doing fantastic . K-SONES are truly amazing , supporting all alike. We were here before the departure of jessica and at least I will be until the end. That of what being a true fan .

Jessica not performing with them is a really big problem, not just because everyone misses her and the choreo looks awkward & other stuff, but because they lost a big vocal support and it shows a lot. Yuri and Sunny's vocals aren't strong enough to fill it, and Tiffany, who is part of the vocal line, didn't really sang that much here...
To me, Hyoyeon is the one who stands out the most in this performance. She always seems so full of energy!

Okay coming from someone who has studied music and understands it, this was a great performance. Tiffany was not off key. Stop saying shit like that to give hate. In fact that key change was probably one of the best I've seen and heard her do.
Sunny did an alright job covering Sicas part - obviously she has a different tone to sicas so of course it'd sound a not different. But never the less she sounded good and wasn't off key.
Yuri and Sooyoung also covered sicas parts really well.
And finally Seo. Apparently you are all saying she was shit as was off key but seriously. Stop making that shit up if you don't even know what it is. I'm seriously betting you're all tone deaf because she was in no way off key and was able to hit that high note better than all other GG members bar Taeyeon.

Ok, let's get things straight.
1. Their poor performances were not because of Jessica. There were multiple factors that made this a bad stage.
a. KBS cameramans have shitty camerawork and audio problems, which if you have watched their music program, is not unusual.
b. Members are sick, and that is not a surprise. It's flu season and FREEZING in Korea and Japan, where they've been getting ready for their tour, which I am POSITIVE that they spent more time on than this performance. And let's not forget exhaustion.
c. Their outfits, though it does fit SOME members well, it may look awkward on some others.
Plus the other celebrities are usually focused on their Korean promotions rather than Japanese or whatever. AOA, Girl's Day, EXO, etc. For those that handled SNSD's schedules and all that crap, the Gayo Daechukje is simply another stage performance with an extra dance break or special intro.
2. Whether or not they kicked her out or she was the one who wanted out, she's not taking the blame for anything. SNSD is. She's happily continuing on with her life, while SNSD is suffering. I am not blaming Jessica for anything, and I'm glad she's not getting too much hate, but looking back at their recent INTW perf., they showed that they didn't want anything of this to happen, yet they're being at fault.
BTW, if Hyoyeon cries, then it's SERIOUS.
i wouldnt say she was happily continuing her life after being removed. All though snsd did suffer after, lets not forget jessica did. All 9 girls faced backlash but jessica was alone whilst she faced it.

I just Clicked " Mr.Marwan" and randomly here accidentally ...Just watched this group for the first time, I think they are one of the best group in Asia. So surprise a group can sing live and dance really fast and cool.
I usually never comment on youtube videos, but the comments here are so bothering. I'm so surprised how fans here become so different after Jessica left. You guys only have complaints about everything that snsd does. Of course it's sad that one member left, and fans can give disappointment to the rest of the members. However, you guys never understand that it was necessary for the snsd and sm ent. Because Jessica had her business so big, she could not work as properly as the rest of the members do. She called herself a creative director(designer), and it would be impossible to do all the snsd works and blanc work at the same time. Also, because jessica has her own brand, the rest of members could not get any commercials which is very crucial to Korean celebrities. I think they made decision for each other's best, so we can't really judge both snsd and jessica. And a lot of people here complain about this stage, and I think they did ok. Since now they are 8, they have to change literally everything. It seems easy to fill in one member's place, but as you can see, it still looks unbalanced because the choreography was created for 9 members. Also they are not just preparing for this stage. They have tons of other works that even fans don't really know about. So STOP complaining about them and move on guys. Jessica is not going to comeback to snsd in near future.

I used to think this was the worst performance they've ever done. When the huge gaping wound left by Jessica's departure was still fresh, this was unbearable to watch. But looking back from this point, after Party, I think they held together well. This performance was awesome! I loved the energy and the extended dance break. I guess I've been so used to seeing only 8 of them that I forgot there were supposed to be 9. Job well done, girls! You deserve all the good things that will ever come. You too, Jessica, wherever life takes you. ❤️

I am a Sone, but honestly this is their worst performance. Ever since Jess left, Taeyeon's performance is always like that. I know it's hard to lose a member but they should remember that we're always here for them. Jessica is vital for the songs, her voice is powerful. I miss her.
