- On a summer day at Leblon beach, the Rio sun beats down on the white sand, raising the temperature to very high levels. The vibrant blue sky contrasts with the greenish sea, creating a paradisiacal scene. Despite the intense heat, the sea breeze provides a welcome relief, while the gentle waves invite you to take a refreshing dip.
The Leblon beachfront transforms into a human anthill, with people of all ages and styles gathering to enjoy the day. Families build sandcastles, children play carefree and young people show off their tanned bodies. Some prefer to exercise, running or playing sports such as beach volleyball and footvolley.
The kiosks along the beach offer a variety of cold drinks and tasty snacks, perfect for quenching your thirst and hunger under the scorching sun. Tropical fruit juices, coconut water and cold beer are the most popular dishes, accompanied by pastries, kebabs and sandwiches.
In the late afternoon, the sun slowly sets, dyeing the sky orange and pink. The crowd gathers to enjoy the spectacle, while the promenade is lit up by streetlights. The night promises to be long and lively, with Leblon's bars and restaurants bustling with people looking for fun.
