If you want to make Edgar playable, it's not about buffing Edgar, it's about reworking the game since 90% of brawlers either have controls or dashes to deal with aggressive plays, and the few ones that have neither have insane damage at close range (pam, bo, griff, sometimes rico and spike). This is the real reason why pure tanks and assassins are unplayable : every brawler has a way to deal with them.

im a bo main and if a edgar jumps on me from a fuckin bush , i cant do a shit cuz he will spam shots on me and gets health at the same time, its so annoying

I feel that a good rework for edgar would be to give him his first sp as a passive plus a slight increase in his hp of 250 points his new sp could give his super more range or a secondary effect such as a 0.5 second slow thank you as always cryingman for giving us such good content💙

Making his first sp as base. Adding a new sp where he gets a bar, which charges (not as slow as shelly's band aid and but not as fast as bibi's, but at the same rate as fang's second sp) overtime. Once edgar jumps it slows down enemies for a 1 second OR it prevents people from using their super for 1 second
Also his normal attack range should be as wide and as much as fang's (excluding the range gained from flying shoe mechanic)
very entertaining video. Yes, Edgar needs a rework, he's too good in showdown for a simple balance to work. But don't you have the Quick Draw Edgar skin? I like it a lot.

i think they should add a inmunity shield for 1 second after landing and remove the 1st gadget cuz it will be op and 2nd gadget will become useless
For me he need a total rework: they should remove the shield gadget but adding more health and he shouldn't even heal himself to every hit + damage buff and attack charge nerf, even the range of the super should be nerfed.
buff his health to like 3400 or 3600 and no need of healing or maybe make healing while punching a starpower but only the 20%
Also nerf his reload speed
0.7 to 1 second
And an idea for his first stsrpower is to give Edgar a 40% shield when landing for 3 seconds

The best thing to do is Super charge buff or Super charge rate buff so he wont always rely on his gadget also 1st star power should be passive and healing should not be removed due to his health. Adding health wont make a difference any brawler can shoot that away from u , and a slightly increase from movement speed and attack range
Why do he needs this buffs? he gets countered easily by Primo,Shelly,Emz,Gene,Stu,Gale,Griff,
Fang, Surge,Bull and Wide range maps
Also to the people who thinks he is broken at this point he can still be easily countered even if he get these buffs
He can easily win any 1v1 matches at any time but Most of those matches is you getting killed

After finishing this challenge for myself, I have no clue how you always win these challenges with randoms. I lost two matches before I decided to look for a team, after which we swept the rest of the games without a single loss, and only had trouble on our second gem grab game. CryingMan too OP

Bro you gotta share your secrets on how to play him.
But for the rework, they could increase his health and attack range; work with the damage such that his hands are more involved; put the first sp as part of his super, and a short immunity against adverse effects, and maybe for his sp replacement, they can give him one that either adds a 4th round, further increases the max range.
Just some thoughts.

I think a good rework for edgar would be to buff his hp to 4800 or 5000 and nerf his lifesteal by 15 or 20 %,add first star Power into base kit,and add another which increases his range or makes slows and stuns less efective on him(i have no idea if the star power will be broken but just my idea,if not the first i suggested just a half tile or full tile range buff).Its my idea ot might be broken but idk im noob🤣.

The problem with edgar isnt that hes bad its the amount of brawlers that outrange him and many other short close combat brawlers, he was good till long range brawlers flooded the market (game) and any short range brawlers who has to get close to attack where nearly instantly erased off the map before they hit
that sudden break of music and borders with text saying "Move please" was hilarious
My idea for Edgar change is to remove his passive trait (which charges his ultimate itself). It would be better to add a new passive which would give him ultimate if he will dodge incoming attacks (attacks should go near him but not hit). Also with this trait they should buff his movement speed. This will make him a lot more fun and rewarding to play. But overall I think that there are too many brawlers who have knockback gadgets that make him almost useless. I think that removing these gadgets from most brawlers and adding new ones would be a lot better. This will also make tanks feel a lot better to play.
People just won’t shoot him until he’s within auto-aim range

@@noerror4043 unless he’s within attacking range, he isn’t a threat. He’s extremely squishy and can’t run straight at someone unlike tanks.
I think a different second starpower would work. So basically on Edgr's last ammo it turns yellow, and he heals 50% more hp, but does 20% less damage or something like that. This is because half of the time you waste all your ammo on attacking and have none left to heal.
No since with hes fast reaload speed that would prob make him even more op since hed heal for more even if the hit was weaker hed still regen faster than most brawlers dps
@@andreashajidimitri8690 Well, he's not op to begin with, but I'm pretty sure your saying he's going to become op with this change. His range though will keep him from being op, plus over half of the brawlers have gadgets that can still push him back. This change is to help him when the opponents teamates begin to attack you on top of you already attacking one of them.
I think Edgar needs an attack range buff (about 2 tiles more, after all he attacks with a long scarf, so it should at least be longer than primo!). His gadgets are fine imo. His hard landing star power is good, but I’m not sure about his extra healing one. I think a longer speed boost from his super would serve him well as an assassin. I don’t know about this one, but what happens when you heal him for a percentage of his missing hp? I’m thinking 15%. That’s over double the usual at very low hp, but a little worse at half hp. (353 -> 630 per hit with 1 hp remaining, but 353 -> 315 with half hp remaining, all at lv 11)
As a Edgar main, I honestly think he's pretty balanced, with his auto ult charge and life steal. It is not very hard to get kills with him as long u know how to use his ult correctly and bait out ur enemies ammo, only problem is he's terrible on open maps

- make first starpower built in and make a starpower that gives him a little resistance to stuns and knockbacks after he uses ultimate, he will be able to get closer to enemies that way.

Edgar's weapon is a stretchy scarf, he should have an ability to grab or wrap enemies, also an increase in ATK range would be nice.

I said this in your last vid but he should go from 2800 to 3200 hp (at lvl 1) his 2nd star power should be built in and his new star power should increase the speed boost duration of his super. His range should get half a tile buff too (I have slightly changed it from last vid but I think this would be better

Dont blame
1. Increase his range same as Nita’s
2. No AUTO SUPER CHARGE
3. Heal +8%
4. When he use his super, he will get a 50% shield for 1.5 secs. (Idk but since he is normal hp, so this will help him survive little bit like darryl’s buff)
Yeah this seem like a big nerf to him, but hope my idea “help” Edgar to start walking and dueling with brawlers, instead of just camp

edgar just needs more range, life steal 35% to 25%, and health from 2800 to 3000 or 3200 should help him a little
Really wish supercell does more solo challanges and make the 3v3 ones have no losses

What I would to to rework Edgar would be to speed up his super charge rate from 30-15 sec nerf 1st gadget to fit the charge rate buff range to El primo and have a second trait that reduces slow,stuns,knockbacks by 35% and have his health from surge or stu to grom or sprout

The only thing I like about Edgar is that his whole character is a reference to My Chemical Romance other than that my least favorite brawler he is so bad but can also be so toxic sometimes, I also agree that he needs a rework to fit his style better.

Una vez se me ocurrió la idea de que Edgar podría tener una habilidad estelar similar a la de Buzz pero al contrario que cuando tenga rivales lejos recargue la super más rápido sería raro pero tendría sentido por qué es un emo o también una estelar que haga que Edgar recargue ulti cuando está cerca de otros brawlers usando sus ataques sería como recargar la super como los tanques mientras reciben daño pero no lo tendría que recibir el daño directamente es una locura pero también tendría sentido por qué es un emo se llamaría atormentado la estelar SUPERCELL PAGAME POR LA IDEA XD
