Very nice video Just wanted to suggest a change in the way you are measuring the lux since it is very sensitive to distance. You are incorrectly measuring the lux from the phone because the sensor is placed over the top of the screen and the light input is read mostly vertically. You need to turn the phone towards the lamp (so that ambient light sensor is also receiving the light right into it) while keeping it at the same spot that's how you would be able to properly assess the lux levels. Keeping it flat and moving it will give wrong readings.
Thanks for sharing your observation. You have point there. The purpose of this video is to give a starting point to viewers who are interested in artificial lighting for plants. Mobile Lux meter app using mobile sensor should only be used for indicative purpose. Buying accurate Lux meter will be a investment for serious grower.

2:28 Small correction: You mean kilowatt hours here (unit billed). Little but significant correction, because for example a kettle may use 1000 Watts, but it only draws the power for 5 minutes (~0.1 KWh). Meanwhile you can have a couple of light bulbs drawing 100 Watts for several hours (0.1 KWh per hour). The wattage is only an indicator how much energy an appliance needs, but the actual energy used depends on how long that appliance is actively drawing the wattage.
You are right. I have the same understanding. One will pay for amount of energy they use. A 50 watt led will theoretically use 1 KW in 20 hours. Can you further explain what I have explained wrongfully in the video with reference to your comment?

50 watt gave 25 k lux at 6 inch. Minimum needed for any meaningful growth. But while placing it close yo the plant br aware of heat it will produce. Adjust the distance accordingly.

Very detailed video. Very well explained. I have only one question. What if we use reflective materials for the convenience of increasing the distance between the plants and bulbs? Will it work?
@@ShashiNGautam not in the room. But around the bulb. The bulb will be placed in the center of the material. The material will be slightly curved in appearance so that the light doesn't scatter or goes out of focus. Material can be anything. Only thing is that it should be painted with reflective coating/colours. How do you think it will affect the Lux measurement? I think it will definitely increase the reading by at least 25-30%.
There will be increase in lux and that will depend on quality of reflector and how narrow the beam gets. Theoretically you can increase the distance between bulb and plant but you have to do it practically to get the actual distance you can increase by using a particular reflector. You can consider using reflective walls around the plants.
Did you check the videos* have shared? You can lower pH / more acidic by adding a weak acid like citric acid. To increase pH / more alkaline add a pH increaser like potassium hydroxide or calcium carbonate. There are commercial products available in the market to adjust pH too.

Hello ji, your vine look small for 3 years. Did you cut its main stem tip? What all Fertilizer you are giving to it and how often. Did you buy a cutting or started it with seeds?

My radermachera sinica Plants is 2 Feet Approx in 14 Inch Pot

आपने एक बड़ी hi इनफार्मेटिवे जानकारी ही नहीं दी है बल्कि ट्रेनिंग दे डाली है।।इसकी मुझे सख्त जरूरत है। अभी आपके vdo को 3 से 4 बार आराम से समझ समझ कर देखना होगा । मुझे इंडोर , सेमी इंडोर और ओपन एरिया के भी प्लांट्स पे कुछ प्रयोग करना होगा ।
मेरे पास कुछ ऐसे मेंगो प्लांट्स हैँ जिनको 8 hrs की सनलाइट जरूर चाहिए।अगर ऐसा नहीं होगा तो सब कुछ होगा flowering और फ्रूटिंग नहीं होगी।
ये मियज़ाकि mango प्लांट है। वर्ल्ड का सबसे महंगा आम

Very detailed video. Very well explained. I have only one question. What if we use reflective materials for the convenience of increasing the distance between the plants and bulbs? Will it work?
Reflective material in the room?
@@ShashiNGautam not in the room. But around the bulb. The bulb will be placed in the center of the material. The material will be slightly curved in appearance so that the light doesn't scatter or goes out of focus. Material can be anything. Only thing is that it should be painted with reflective coating/colours. How do you think it will affect the Lux measurement? I think it will definitely increase the reading by at least 25-30%.
There will be increase in lux and that will depend on quality of reflector and how narrow the beam gets. Theoretically you can increase the distance between bulb and plant but you have to do it practically to get the actual distance you can increase by using a particular reflector.
You can consider using reflective walls around the plants.

Did you check the videos* have shared? You can lower pH / more acidic by adding a weak acid like citric acid.
To increase pH / more alkaline add a pH increaser like potassium hydroxide or calcium carbonate.
There are commercial products available in the market to adjust pH too.

Hello sir , i send you some photos of my grapevine! Sir the vine is 3 years old and it has not even flowed once since then ! I live in delhi and the vine gets atleast 10hrs direct sunlight , sir as i did not know the pruning technique before so i have not cut any branches in it .

You can follow 12 - 12 day night cycle.

Keep lamp on for 12 hours than off for 12 hours.
You can also follow 8 - 16 cycle.
That point also addressed but did not realised that day night cycle will not be clear to some.
