"Just as the opposite of love is not hate but indifference...The opposite of hope is not despair. Apathy so strong nothing matters any more - that's the opposite of hope. The ability to forgive everything. The ability to say "Fine" to absolutely anything at all - that is the opposite of hope" - Ii's monologue in episode 7
Once again, 1 minute in, that leitmotif returns. I'm honestly kind of annoyed because I wanted to look up the soundtrack and find a bunch of interesting background pieces I missed, but I'm practically listening to the same song over and over again. It's not even much of a variation, with the same piano ushering it in. Ah, well, they knew what they were doing when implementing it, so I can't say it's a real bad mark on the show.
DrSomnia every movie and/or tv show tends to stick to the main theme when it comes to background music. There are some tracks that differ from it but most of them are made that way.
All of Kajiura's music sound the same because she uses the same strings group, same background singers, same instruments, and sound mixing for every one of her works. That's not to say that her music is repetitive and bad though

0:32 to 1:00 the guitar riff really adds to the music so much.

It's not a song if there is no singing~

DrSomnia Unfortunately that’s how a lot of Yuri Kajiura soundtracks are like. After listening for a while everything starts to sound the same.

This album is a masterpiece. Show is a masterpiece. This and the other song - 'Old fashioned fairy tale' - better than Game of Thrones' song.
