Summarizing articles I don't have time to read.. oh boy how didn't I think of that!
Useful tips and good idea to make a video about ChatGPT.
    Thanks Sergio!

I must admit it's probably the one I've been using the most lately! The first couple of times I did it, I also read the article to see how good a job it did, and I was so impressed!

Metager search bar + chatgpt & wolfram alpha integrated into an Obsidian workflow running on a webhosted private and encrypted server which integrates with my git repos and my matrix community.
Accessed via a private web browser with a vpn implanted inside my brain.
That's my goal in life right now.
I've been using chatgpt on and off for the past two years, much more so lately now that it's gotten good, and as an artist is seriously helps me make the code for the ideas I've invented which I'd never be able to make myself otherwise: not without paying a lot of money for very experienced devs.
It still has a long way to go though, I've struggled to really implement chatgpt as a big part of my life knowing they plan to make it fully paid whenever they want.
I don't even know how to set up gpt 3 to pay for credits through the api, so until someone clones it, I'm just holding out for a self-hosted FOSS version.

Seems like a paid form of chatgpt is in the works with a rumored price of 42/mo which isn't terrible but not all enticing for most people! Especially since the free version will be good enough for 99.9%!
You can use GPT-3 and pay for credits with obsidian using the text generator plugin but as you know it's not the same as chatGPT!

Fantastic intro Sergio to this game-changing software ... but why should I write this thank you note!?! I'll leave it to ChatGPT....
"Thank you so much for sharing this incredible video about how you use AI in your life! I found it to be extremely informative and well-produced. Your clear and concise explanations made it easy to understand the concepts, and I appreciated the real-life examples you provided to illustrate the practical applications of AI." Yep - that sums it up!

Scary good! 9/10 i'd say, the first line was just a bit robotic but the rest was spot on!

I plan to use it to help me fix a linux kernel panic on my rig since I don't know how to do it and we have no tech support around here.

I have had it fix a KP before with success but it took well over 20 mins in pasting different logs into it. It somehow managed to do it though and I couldn't figure this one out. I was ready to wipe the disk and clean install!

Is there a way to integrate ChatGPT into Obsidian?

    • @FromSergio
      @FromSergio  Год назад +2

Not chatGPT itself but GPT-3 which has its advantages and disadvantages, one of my next videos will be using it in obsidian!

@@FromSergio I had GPT3 already in Obsidian for some time but I also could integrate ChatGPT by using the Custom Frames plugin on Obsidian, works like a charm.

I askd chatgpt just for a test, which date is today, it gave me random answer of a long past date of last year. I tried that a few times with different ways to questioning but allways got a strange fantasy answer. Then I ask for the autor of a old indian classical text. I got a completly wrong answer, further I ask for the content, the chapters, the answer was stil strange. Now I dont anderstand what chatgpt is good for.

It's not very good at contemplating ideas that humanity doesn't have concensus on.
It doesn't like talking about the nature of the Soul.

    • @FromSergio

Yeah it's limited with those topics, seems like the "professional" version rumored at 42/mo will not be as limited!
