    The stage was set, and generational talents *Ohtani and Judge* finally faced off. But in the end, it was *Freeman and Stanton,* both 35 and longtime leaders in MLB, who truly shined. How can you not be romantic about baseball?

      While Erron Judge had more strikeouts than RBIs throughout the postseason, batting .184, and once again cost his team with amateur outfielding by dropping a routine ball.
      Ohtani rescued his team from being swept by the Padres with his 3-run homer. He also had a great NLCS performance, boasting a 1.184 OPS, a .364 batting average, leading with 9 runs, and impressively reaching base 17 times. With an astounding .818 average with RISP. Not to mention, in game 1 of the World Series, he made a clutch double that tied the game 2-2 in the 8th inning, setting up Freddie's grand slam that crushed the Yankees' spirit. But of course, let’s conveniently ignore Ohtani getting injured in game 2 with a shoulder dislocation and just parrot "Both Judge AND Ohtani did nothing in the postseason DURRR".
      In case you forgot, both Mookie and Freddie combined for 8-for-45 over the last two postseasons before Ohtani arrived and shifted the pressure away from them.

      Oh, the tears of a Lolmets fangirl are almost poetic. Watching Edman, of all people, a cleanup hitter, turn your glorified LolMets into a laughing stock is just chef’s kiss divine. And let’s not forget your so-called "NL MVP" Lindor, who was about as useful as a decorative paperweight in crunch time in the NLCS. Bases loaded? Cue Lindor’s disappearing act! Meanwhile, the real MVP, Ohtani - delivered a stellar .818 with RISP. That’s what true MVPs do, they rise to the occasion, unlike your beloved Lindchoke, who decided a measly 2 RBIs were sufficient in that entire series…hahahaha imagine being a LolMets fangirl. I pity you

      @heyheyhey33351 3 месяца назад +6

      Yup! Screw the NL Championship, Divisional, and the 162-game regular season that Ohtani showed up for. His performance in the WS completely wiped away the relevance of any of that. (/s because I'm sure there might be those out there who agree.)

      @toxicmoldmedia 3 месяца назад +1

      @@heyheyhey33351 welp if your a stats guy, thats you. For people that care how people play when it actually matters, yeah, Ohtani looks bad plain and simple.

    • @Zagirus
      @Zagirus 3 месяца назад +1

      Oh, if only you harnessed a shred of intelligence, you’d surely know Ohtani was THE absolute MVP of the entire postseason. He single-handedly rescued the Dodgers from a sweep against the Padres with his clutch 3-run homer. His LCS performance? Pure divinity with a 1.184 OPS, a .364 batting average, and a jaw-dropping .818 with RISP, all while racking up 9 runs and moonwalking across bases 17 TIMES. *And, who could overlook his heroics in Game 1 of the World Series, tying it in the 8th with his clutch double, paving the way for Freddie's walk-off?* But of course, let’s ignore his obvious injury in game 2 and instead, conveniently sum up his WS as "did nothing", as if the obstacles he faced weren't glaringly obvious and didn’t carry the Dodgers to the WS while Freddie was injured.

    • @Zagirus
      @Zagirus 3 месяца назад

      If it weren’t for Ohtani, Freddie wouldn’t be playing in the WS because they would’ve got swept by the Padres. God, causals like yourself are something else.
