The stage was set, and generational talents *Ohtani and Judge* finally faced off. But in the end, it was *Freeman and Stanton,* both 35 and longtime leaders in MLB, who truly shined. How can you not be romantic about baseball?
It's always the vets😊
While Erron Judge had more strikeouts than RBIs throughout the postseason, batting .184, and once again cost his team with amateur outfielding by dropping a routine ball.
Ohtani rescued his team from being swept by the Padres with his 3-run homer. He also had a great NLCS performance, boasting a 1.184 OPS, a .364 batting average, leading with 9 runs, and impressively reaching base 17 times. With an astounding .818 average with RISP. Not to mention, in game 1 of the World Series, he made a clutch double that tied the game 2-2 in the 8th inning, setting up Freddie's grand slam that crushed the Yankees' spirit. But of course, let’s conveniently ignore Ohtani getting injured in game 2 with a shoulder dislocation and just parrot "Both Judge AND Ohtani did nothing in the postseason DURRR".
In case you forgot, both Mookie and Freddie combined for 8-for-45 over the last two postseasons before Ohtani arrived and shifted the pressure away from them.
@@Zagirus Ohtani does not get any credit for Freddie Freeman’s success in the World Series dude.
@@Zagirussounds like a lot of yapping, i ain’t reading all that

Oh, the tears of a Lolmets fangirl are almost poetic. Watching Edman, of all people, a cleanup hitter, turn your glorified LolMets into a laughing stock is just chef’s kiss divine. And let’s not forget your so-called "NL MVP" Lindor, who was about as useful as a decorative paperweight in crunch time in the NLCS. Bases loaded? Cue Lindor’s disappearing act! Meanwhile, the real MVP, Ohtani - delivered a stellar .818 with RISP. That’s what true MVPs do, they rise to the occasion, unlike your beloved Lindchoke, who decided a measly 2 RBIs were sufficient in that entire series…hahahaha imagine being a LolMets fangirl. I pity you
Brian Andersons big Christmas call might be the best and funniest call I've ever heard from him in his career
I will never forget what Freddie Freeman did for the Dodgers

That Pete Alonso home run…. 9th inning, down by 2, 1 out, elimination game … epic !!’
I was feeling like the playoffs lasted a long time and it was almost exactly all of October. Started 10-1 ended 10-30
I don't care what is, nothing in sports is more exciting than a Home Run in my opinion. The closest thing to being as awesome as a home run is a half court buzzer beater in Basketball.
So proud of our dodgers I miss Fernando 😊
I’m a Dodgers fan and boy the hats our team hit especially in the WS was magically (Freddie Freeman) , but watching postseason nukes is something amazing to see 🤝🏼🤝🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Not a bad post season, I liked watching the Padres, Mets, and Tigers make their postseason runs
The guardians yankees game where big Christmas hit that homer was so awesome
It is crazy that there is was like more than 20 homeruns hit during the postseason all together
Watching the padres get shut out again al it’s puts a smile on my face
Significantly less homers than last year but it was a great postseason as a Dodgers fan
not for freedie freemaan 5 games 5 tankes
It’s amazing how quite smoltz is when the dodgers hit a hr but the other team dues he’s gushing all over how great they are.
Dude I’ve been saying that for YEARS! he’s always been a dodgers hater. It’s nice seeing Joe Davis in the booth instead of smoltz and buck
He literally had commentary to every Dodger homer in this clip lmao like what are you talking about? “Every kid dreams of hitting the game winning homer” that’s high praise
October baseball>any other sport
I bet they could all do it again next season for 2025!!
In my opinion 3. Big Christmas 2. Alonso saves the day 1. Freeman walk off
5:54 Was there any doubt!
I 💙 LA
21:54 announcer said it was a line drive. When Aaron Judge hits it like a giant
its so weird hearing michael kay on a non yankee game
it's nice to see this from the other side of the world!
wow people ,,,AMAZING 😊♥️☺️👍
That Yankee alure has been gone for years; teams love seeing them in the postseason
I like watching padres hitting homeruns again
wait what happened... the yankees had a 5 lead run and was dominating that game no way they lost right...? right?
Good morning 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Wow epic homers👍
Big Christmas had the greatest one
😂oh really? Did they lose and you just stopped watching mlb?
Not a chance. Freddie
The amount of time to edit this lol
The Royals will be back next year
I hate sliders that drop
i wish Tatis would stop bat flipping until he wins something of value. It was cool when he was like.... actually good and actually the face of the league... Now he's become a meme of a guy that batflips and STILL loses
I get it. Feeding off the energy from the crowd. Giving the crowd the same energy. But I 100% agree with you. Stay humble till it’s over with. It’s like he’s trying to make it like the NBA or NFL level of drama. Baseball isn’t like that. Baseball finds a way.

Dodgers Always Wins Again
i’m so glad braves let go of luke jackson
They will never win a title in NY with how they approach the game
Not one of the most iconic postseasons, but an exciting one nonetheless!
Please keep the Ump-Cam forever. Thanks.
DA YANKEES LOSE!!!
yeaaaaaa!!!!!
Tattis needs to be checked for steroid use, especially October, he has already been tested positive,, I believe it should be in MLB contract that every player tested positive should have to be tested every game in post season
Freedie Freeman made Ohtani look like a rookie. Freeman should be the face of the dodgers after that performance, not Ohtani.
Do you seriously think either one of them cares? They won the World Series. They do not care who is the face of whom.
Yup! Screw the NL Championship, Divisional, and the 162-game regular season that Ohtani showed up for. His performance in the WS completely wiped away the relevance of any of that. (/s because I'm sure there might be those out there who agree.)
@@heyheyhey33351 welp if your a stats guy, thats you. For people that care how people play when it actually matters, yeah, Ohtani looks bad plain and simple.
Oh, if only you harnessed a shred of intelligence, you’d surely know Ohtani was THE absolute MVP of the entire postseason. He single-handedly rescued the Dodgers from a sweep against the Padres with his clutch 3-run homer. His LCS performance? Pure divinity with a 1.184 OPS, a .364 batting average, and a jaw-dropping .818 with RISP, all while racking up 9 runs and moonwalking across bases 17 TIMES. *And, who could overlook his heroics in Game 1 of the World Series, tying it in the 8th with his clutch double, paving the way for Freddie's walk-off?* But of course, let’s ignore his obvious injury in game 2 and instead, conveniently sum up his WS as "did nothing", as if the obstacles he faced weren't glaringly obvious and didn’t carry the Dodgers to the WS while Freddie was injured.
@@toxicmoldmedia
If it weren’t for Ohtani, Freddie wouldn’t be playing in the WS because they would’ve got swept by the Padres. God, causals like yourself are something else.
Script writers cooked until the World Series. The games were entertaining, but a 5 game series was kind of weak.
yeah but those freddie homeruns were cool
hey its only weak cause the "YANKEES" didnt show up
Agree. But as Dodgers fans, I take the 4-1 win rather than nerve wrecking 4-3 win. 😅
Nah the script was set for it to be a 7-game series, but the Yankees ruined it by choking away Games 1 and 5.
Please everyone shut up about the Yankees already. They tried at least
