I love Jeff’s channel. He’s a great evangelist and plants a lot of seeds in Israel.
It's interesting that the need to note that "the Lord our God is one" was evidently known, if it were simply the Father it doesn't seem there would be a need to say that the Father is one. In doing so it seems to have been known that with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit some may perceive one or the other to be God when in fact the three are one. I'm a bit confused myself, so if I'm not making sense I understand. Thank you sir for another lesson.
Maybe its what is saying is that in contrast with pagan religions which have many gods, our God is only one.
Yes! There is only one true God *and* He is one, so Father, Son, and Spirit are one, the one and only God.
@@oscarcoronel3021 the word one is echod and denotes togetherness, unity, one whole. It's the same word used in Genesis 2:24 and the man and the woman shall become one. They're two people in unity, one whole, together. The same is said of God. Echod is only used of God in description.

I sincerelt hope that more judes will understand Jesus as the Messiah.
Moses also represents those who die and will be resurrected at Christ’s second coming and Elijah those who will be caught up in the air with the risen faithful to meet the Lord in the clouds. So, they represent the Kingdom of Christ as Jesus had mentioned six days before. Read Matthew 16:28 and then 17:1 onwards.

How can you say that God is merciful and loving when billions of little babies have suffered and died?Pregnant women in the old testament have been slaughtered wake up people
Because we are not robots, He gave us freewill. Millions of babies suffer and die because people made that choice.
People make the choice for war, for sin in general because they are under the sway of the prince of this world ,Satan. God made a way back to Him through the blood of Yeshua but it's our choice. He didn't have to do this for evil rotten man but by His grace we can be healed and set free from the power of sin. This is not our home, we are in enemy territory so in this world there's always going to be awful things happening.
How can an angel be God? God is not an angel. Angels are creations from God, and angels are fallible.
Who was the *man* who wrestled with Jacob, and who said "you have *contended with G-D* ?
And what did Jacob call that place? - *Peniel* !
"Because I have *seen G-D face to face* - and yet I live!"
You're confusing the word angel (which literally only means messenger) to a created spiritual being. God can come in the form of an angel, or better explained, in the form of a messenger
Yea “the Angel of the LORD” in the OT is a divine theophany of God and is actually the pre-incarnate appearance of Jesus Christ
Daniel 7:13-14
"In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a *son of man* , coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.
He was given authority, *glory* and sovereign power; *all nations and peoples of every language WORSHIPED him* .
His dominion is an *everlasting* dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will *never* be destroyed."
My hope is that many will listen to this and hearken to it, and Jews for Jesus Amen
Since the Jewish got the revelation from God through many prophets, they were anti the Gentiles and they always trying to not include the Gentiles into the holy Bible. Christ reconcile all kinds of people into togetherness.
Galatians 3:28, where Paul says, "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Love thy neighbour as yourself, and do not mistreat the sojourner doesn't seem very anti gentiles. The Jews and the Pharisees in Jesus' time were obviously rather pompous and snobby.
Paul was just showing that Gods love and the gospel of Christ extended beyond the Jews.
@@TaxEvasi0n I am not speaking about the pharisees or in Jesus time, but all the time they are bitterness towards Gentiles, even if they welcome you into theirs faith, you must be like Jewish identically and it takes many years to be convert. They believe that the kingdom of God belongs to them and not the Gentiles.
If you are truly righteous person, you always think how to save others people and ready to sacrifice in order to bring them in God's children because this what God's character is, but if you not, you are truly self righteous and foolish.

@@Charles.Wright I'm not sure of your position here mate. Are you disagreeing with my diagnosis or? Ephesians 2 is extrapolating on what Christ did, he fulfilled the law and opened up the gospel to everyone.
The reason why I say I don't see how the Jews/Israelites were anti-gentiles, is because they clearly laws that respected the gentiles and to take them in as your own and to care for them. If they didn't wish to convert, they were stuck in the realms of the law of slavery (which due to much discussion, is not at all anything to fuss about), but if they DID want to worship the God of the Israelites, their status among the Israelites was increased. Just look at Ruth.
The only anti-anything I see are the Pharisees etc in Johns gospel being racist and rude to Jesus. Answer me this, are the Samaritans of the Israelites, or are they of the gentiles?
The schema " Here oh Israel the Lord your God is one He is one." In Hebrew the first " one " is singular but the second is a compound " one " like one family. It leaves room for a more compound view of God. Also in the Targrums one rabbi mentions the mystery of 3 throughout the scriptures.

Hey Anthony, there is a passage in the Bible that has me stumped and I’d love your help.
Ezekiel 34:24
[24] And I, the LORD, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. I am the LORD; I have spoken.
The entire passage is talking about God will be their Sheppard but then it says “my servant David will be prince among them.”
Is this referring to Jesus? If so, why is the father calling him a servant?
Nothing online is helping me. XD
The 2nd Person of Triune God or Jesus came as a Servant
Philippians 2:6-11
[6] Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; [7] rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. [8] And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death- even death on a cross! [9] Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, [10] that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, [11] and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

@SamC_182 Your answer is misguiding. The Messiah is The One Who stated Out Of His OWN MOUTH that His FATHER is THE ONLY TRUE GOD. To alter or change what He said is to go against The Foundation of The Faith in and of Christ. I am certain that The Father is THE ONLY TRUE GOD because His Son SAID SO. You are literally going against what The Messiah plainly taught to uphold a severely erroneous position to say the least. Your doctrine is not Biblical, it lacks logic and common sense, and goes against The Wholesome Words of Christ Himself. To Know THE FATHER AS THE ONLY TRUE GOD and to Love HIM is The Greatest Commandment. Repent!
@@SincerelyoursYahI agree the Father is the only true God, but that doesn't exclude the Son & the Spirit from being the true God with the Father either, especially when you take the scripture as a whole. I mean John 1:1 is as clear as it gets. Also going by your logic, if what Jesus says matters to you as much as you say, then let's see if you can remain consistent. When doubting Thomas addressed Jesus as "His Lord & HIS GOD", Jesus blessed him instead of correcting him. If Jesus blessed Thomas after such a statement, then Jesus is as much true God as His Father. They ARE ONE, something Jesus also said. FURTHERMORE, Jesus even claimed to be the I AM, the same I AM who appeared to Moses in the burning bush. That's literally Jesus three times affirming His own deity & literally disagreeing with YOU. But of course you being intellectually dishonest & deceived (like all heretics) are gonna find a way to do mental gymnastics & disagree with SCRIPTURE & Jesus HIMSELF. You're the only one in error. Again, you're the example of the pick & choose from the Bible, & why you believe in a heresy. You my good sir should repent

@Talk-jn7xo The whole point is not who can be referred to as God (1 Corinthians 8:6). God is a generic term in The Bible and can simply mean a mighty one. The word "god" is used to speak of angels, prophets, etc. To believe in Christ is not to place your traditions above His Own Words! Christ Himself settles this matter when He Said that His Father is THE ONLY TRUE GOD! I am simply standing on what He said out His Mouth and you are not! Repent.
