Hello, Steeve. Thank you for your channel! It is a great pleasure to watch your videos! I have an issue choosing chairs. The problem is, my weight is 291 pounds (132 kg), and i bought a nice chair for 264 pounds max (i consulted the manufacturer, and he told me it is totally fine and the chair will be fine). But after owning this chair for less than 1 year, i realized that the back of the chair is on a higher angle when you lean on it. (the price of the chair was ~230$ and the name of the chair is Samurai S2, Metta company). And you sit om the chair as if you were using some "relax" mode, but you just wanted to sit straight and do some office work. I already contacted the manufacturer, but i am not sure if, even if they replace my chair with the new one, it is going to last long. At work my company also buys chairs, but they are very cheap (~50$ each) so they do not last long under me and get severely damaged (when you lean on them, you can almost see the ceiling, that's how far they lean). I know that to lose A LOT of weight is an option... but still, i want to find a solid solution which will work for me. Thank you for reading this, and, maybe, replying to this. Have a nice day!
Plenty of good choice for your weight, but more expensive... As you're using Samurai chair (which is made and usually sold in Russia) I assume you're from Russia so I suggest reading this Russian forum forum.ixbt.com/topic.cgi?id=15:39643
Hi Steeve I think the really most confortable position is when the mouse (and the tablet if you have one) are positionned on the arm rest and NOT on the desk But no model like this really exist Reason why I customized a DX Racer with two big tray arm desks Did you tried this solution???
