I really wish Apple would bring back their own line of Smart Battery Cases. The current MagSafe Battery Pack tends to overheat the iPhone and charges very slowly, providing little power. It's not an adequate replacement.
The battery case they had was the best I’ve ever owned. I’m sad they replaced it with the MagSafe battery pack.
Man! The case would be an immediate purchase if the product had MagSafe. For sure a way to empty my $7.23 balance from my checking account 😂

Love Mophie products. I beg to differ on drop protection. This 15 pro max has glass in the back. I currently have an Apple silicon case I’ve dropped it a few times times . No issues, but I feel it doesn’t have a secure fit like the Mophie would. It easily slides in and out. Ordered one from Best Buy an open box. Excellent condition. I get it tomorrow. Great review. I have had Mophie JP got it from thrift store worked very well. Had used their power banks but prefer the juice packs.
I’m going to wait for the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Mophie will release later soon 😁
At this price it really sucks. This time around mophie no longer needs to pay for any MFi components, because the iPhone is USBC now, and they still sell it at the same price! I had a Juice Pack for my previous main phone, an iPhone 8 Plus. It was pretty good, only issue it got micro USB input, but it had wireless charging input so I could forgive it. Over two years in use, the battery inside got expanded, so I threw it away. The iPhone XS generation Juice Pack was the best, because that’s the only generation with a Lightning input. Then the iPhone 11 Juice Pack, that’s absolutely the worst, since it didn’t plug in, topped up the phone wirelessly instead, resulting horrible energy conversion rate and overheating. Then they went silent, only supply special Juice Packs to Apple employees in Apple Stores. Now the iPhone 15 generation came, and they added nothing new, silently removed wireless charging input on the case, and kept the same price! The iPhone 11 version didn’t have any MFi components too, but it at least had wireless charging input to charge the case up. This time it reverted back to wired charging output, which is good, but removing wireless charging input makes zero sense.
So tempted buying, hopefully mophie case will make for IP 16

I have never purchased a mophie cases, but would love to give them a try. It probably comes in handy more due to not having to worry about carrying a MagSafe battery pack around all the time.

@@Brians_tech I think it’s impossible because of the gap between the case. The use c has to plug in. The would have to do some battery curve or make the case thicker so it can touch the back to much compromise for some people. This solution is fine. Could be a world’s first. Like they are good at inventing.
They (Amazon) sell magnetic rings that can be added to any case for fairly cheap. You can get a six pack for about $8. Comes in clutch on non-MagSafe cases to use with magnetic car phone stands, magnetic wallets, pop sockets, etc

I had a Mophie battery case years ago with my first iPhone and I loved it. My workplace actually has them on all of our phones as well. I just recently upgraded to the IPhone 15 Pro Max. Having one of these cases again would be great!
I have the iPhone 11 version and i added a magsafe sticker to the back of this case because i wanted to used my accessories and I weirdly found out that you can wirelessly charge the case itself and the case would charge the phone. Not saying I’d reccomend doing it but it was cool knowing that it can do that😅

I bought this case it stopped working after a few uses, I had it for few months. Use to by them since iPhone 6 or 7 plus. I’ve ordered the Newdery case. Mophie uses same old technology. 😊
I had it and was pretty disappointed. I returned it and bought anker MagSafe battery pack. Charges it way faster and charges it more
Will get this for my 16 Pro when it comes out, if they make one for it. It feels so oldschool and I like it

I know its magsafe redundant but if they could make this case with a magnetic replaceable battery then you can buy a couple or more batteries and it would be really cool. just interchange them.

I used to buy this case for every iPhone. The quality started dropping tho and it would fail at the charging port and get hot as hell. Apples case was a major improvement over that. I’ll stick with my Apple MagSafe battery pack tho.
Not having MagSafe is a huge turn off for me. I feel like I would drop my phone 100x more than I do if I couldn’t use MagSafe.

So when my iPhone goes to zero it shuts off and I don’t get the fifty percent extra … am I supposed to do something like push a button. ? Help please
You need to push the button on the back to turn the case on. It might turn itself on, but if not, push the button.

It might work with regular wireless charging, but I doubt it. It’s pretty thick. Definitely no MagSafe

It’s unfortunate that the MagSafe battery packs have caused these to fall off, at least slightly. They should release MagSafe packs
God I really needed this when I went to the Eras tour. I took so many photos and videos that day and my battery was at 5% at the end of the show and I would have needed this case to survive my journey home XD. I had to borrow a charger from a random person. This battery pack would be useful to me cause I still have many upcoming concerts to go to 🤣, I have Coldplay, Adele etc. so useful when traveling as well. Good luck to everyone, even if I don't win this, this is something I would defeneatly buy.
