The biggest issue with most killers isn't even pallets or downing power, it's mobility. Going across the map and finding survivors takes up a lot of time, which is why Blight, Spirit, and Oni are consistently rated among the strongest killers. (Not including Nurse, she's strong because she straight up ignores major game mechanics)
Totally agree but let's not ignore the fact he didn't get a hook till nearly 3 minutes in. That is a death sentence for killers against efficient teams
@@CaptToilet the main thing is that he didn't get a single cage tunnel. Pyramid head is a trash-tier killer if you cannot force tunnels. his anti-loop is nowhere need good enough.
looks like a low skill identity v match to me, where generally 3 'gens' go in ~80 sec on average and it becomes very difficult to stop the last 2 into 'adrenaline' it's no wonder that when survs in dbd play with a shred of competence the game breaks, as it's balanced around survs that get stunned out of repairing for 60 sec if they hear terror radius
i have seen this plan over and over again. ace was sent out to get you into chase. they had 3 ppl on first gen, done in 1 minute. if you beelined to the farthest gen, which is usually where they are, you would have made it in time to chase them off or at least slow them down. now, if you did this, the ace would just work on a gen in the opposite side. anyways. they just hop from gen to gen as a 3 man as long as 1 person is in chase. if you can't down in less than a minute a gen will be done. its a proven gen rush formula. also they do gens on the opposite side you are being chased on, so perks like pop might not work. you also got little value from pain res and pop this whole game because of their strategy.
Ok so here is my hot take on this match. Survivors had no gen rushing perks/tool boxes. Unless you count resil and maybe deja vu if that's what the Ace has can't tell just from looking at it. I have a burning question after watching lots of killer main content. Do you think players that main a specific killer have a better advantage of winning tough matches like these?
@@dineez627 Honestly I think it's playstyle. Most comp team killers and high mmr killers will tunnel out the first survivor they find and then slug and hang the rest to win. It's honestly a sad way to play but it's what it's come to.
@@dineez627 If your main is Nurse, Blight or Billy, and you are a god Nurse, Blight or Billy, then yeah, you have an advantage, but with other killers is kinda shit. Even with Spirit is hard af, because she’s overnerfed. I’m main Pyramid head, I face squads like this every day, sometime I win sometime I loose. Yesterday I faced 3 super organized swf, carried by background player, buckle up ftp and sabo. I lost 2, won 1, the one I won I played like a son of a bitch, slugging someone for like 3 minutes, camping him and sending every surv that wanted to try to save him in the cage. I stopped when an idiot got himself killed because of altruism, then after few seconds I killed the one I was slugging too and then I started to chill. You need to play in really unfun ways to win against these kind of survs (at least If you’re not a god Nurse, Blight or Billy), because the game is balanced for noob and not strong players, so since there are more noobs on the surv side than the killer side, survs are really advantaged at high levels.
I love when people tell me you don't need gen defense at high mmr and then I see shit like this
Yeah, I usually ignore the survivors when they give me advice too xD

The funny part is that usually people who say that are the ones who abuse gen progression and broken perks like background player or buckle up + ftp

And this is why we need gen defense perks. At above avarage mmr/ high mmr, gens fly.

@TheDragonKiller90 yeah it was a few ptbs ago. Given his power can be pretty hard to hit with I was honestly fine with that change.
Gens were fast yeah but there was alot of misses which cost him a good amount of time, seemed like a 50/50 match this time round
