- This month is Pride Month, and its a very important time to be educated and pay tribute to those who came before us fighting the struggles for equality and the present fight that still is being fought against oppression today. It's also, I think, a good time to come together and be proud of who we are. This can be tough sometimes, as it was for so many of my friends and I. So I decided, for this video, to do something special, and sit down with a lot of my friends and answer some questions you all may have had about our personal experiences with our identity.We don't represent everyone on the spectrum, and we can only speak from our own personal experiences, we don't know everything, but hopefully, something we say may help some of you out there watching. I talk way more personally and openly about myself than I usually do here, so forgive my nervousness and I hope you enjoy.

He is not only a funny and kind person, he is one of those youtubers that is not fake and never will be, and THAT is what I love about Thomas Sanders. He is Genuine unlike so many other youtubers. Well, you see, I heard Sweater Weather and ended up falling in to this rabbit hole of existential fear and gayness.
Well you see I had a taste of the straight pie and I didn't really like it. So I settled on blackberry pie.

Well, you see, i opened tiktok and it hit me.
Well, you see, girls and enbies exist and I just-
I came out to my mom almost two years ago (August 13th) as Bi. I didn't even have the courage to tell her IN PERSON. I wrote a letter and put it on a mirror in her bedroom before I left to go to my dad's and basically cried myself to sleep the entire weekend. I got back and my mom had written a six-page letter in response (because I specifically asked her to not talk to me personally about it because I was still uncomfortable) and she didn't care. She thought I may have been too young to decide (I was 12) but she said that if I felt that I liked both guys and girls, or decided I was a lesbian, or a transgender, or whatever that she would still love me no matter what. I still cry whenever I read the letter, though.

For four years I didn't tell my best friend that I was gay. I was afraid that, as a straight man, he'd no longer see me as "one of the guys" if he knew. Recently, I finally came out to him and told him I have a boyfriend. Right away, he told me that he's bisexual and also has a boyfriend, which I never knew. After that, we opened up to each other and the walls came down. We were both hiding our lives from each other out of fear, and it turns out there was nothing to be afraid of! It was a fantastic moment.

Dear Thomas and friends,
I just wanted thank you. You literally saved my life. A few months ago I was struggling with my identity and I tried to come out but everyone thought I was joking every time. And many of my close family members were sadly very unaccepting and we are still working on our relationships. And I was just in a really dark place. I was ready to end my life but was just trying to find a good time. One day I was mindlessly scrolling through my RUclips and you guys caught my eye. I must have watched your having pride video 20 times. And then I watched the rest of your videos and actually laughed at you and your friends antics for the first time in a long time. I identify as male, and the person I love the most in this world sees me as so. But 'coming out' was horrible. People followed me home, threw things at me, it became such an issue in high school that I reversed and went back to identifying as female. This video reminds me of why I'm so freaking proud of my school. They recently started a "GSA" club (gender sexuality alliance) once a week during advisories and I just love it. On the posters for it it even says that they made it a safe environment for anyone lgbtq+

I will never, ever understand the hate towards the LGBT or non-binary community. I am a straight man born in the 80s from an extremely forward thinking and not hateful family. I was rased to know that there is nothing wrong with who you are. I wish more people of the LGBT community had parents like mine or my aunt's, uncle's etc. this video was incredibly moving and I hope that if either of my sons are gay, bi, trans or whatever, they don't feel any fear to come out to me. my wife, who is pansexual, was treated poorly and I have vowed that anyone I know and love that is not straight I will support them one hundred percent. thank you, every one of you in this video for making it. and know that there are a lot of Ally's out there that are supporting you, even old ones like me! lol! happy pride!

I put a comment a while back about being straight but since then I've come to the realization that I'm asexual.... I'm very afraid to tell my parents as my dad says not to support the LGBTQ but i do anyways. Thomas is my favorite RUclipsr. My friends know I'm asexual. I just figured it out. ~A little coming out story because this is an amazing community~
When I came out to my mum as Bi, it was kind of out of the blue, while we were watching TV. She went quiet for a bit, but then we continued to watch TV like nothing happened. I was so scared that I’d messed up, I knew my mum was an ally to the community but I was still really anxious.
However, she then started talking to me about how she thinks it’s great I can love people regardless of gender, and how she totally accepts me. I felt like a massive weight had been lifted off my shoulders. There’s one thing she said during that conversation that I still find funny. “You can love whoever you want. Except zombies, they freak me out, I have rules about them.”
Sorry for the vent, watching this video inspired me to share my story 💖💜💙

My best friend is transgender and it was actually very hard for me at first to use the proper pronoun. I knew him as a girl for 6 years. But it’s been a year and now I’m so use to saying his/him and his guy name. I’m very glad that I was one of the first people he trust to tell.

I told my best friend first, I believe. I trusted her with everything and to this day she still hasn’t betrayed this trust I put in her. She is still one of the very few people I trust and I’m glad to have her in my life. She has helped and supported me through so much. It’s been a year now and she’s not afraid to publicly embarrass me when it’s obvious I’m trans by calling me my male name. I don’t find it mean at all, I find it sweet that she will always call me by my preferred pronouns and name no matter where we are or who we’re with. She’s honestly the best.
Your friend may not feel the exact way as I feel about my best friend, about you. But I bet he feels something similar. So you should really feel happy he decided to tell you. It was more than likely the best decision he’s made. Much like the best decision I made was telling my best friend.

Labels are like shoe sizes; I'm not a size four anymore, but that was an important step in me getting to where I am now, a size 8.
Also pronouns are like cars. You have one pronoun that isn't working for you anymore (but could be perfect for someone else) and then you switch to a new pronoun and it takes a while to get used to but in the long run it's much better than the original

Coming out has always been weird for me. Many friends have known forever, some friends don't know to this day, but by far the hardest to me was when my sister accidentally outed me in front of my massively conservative parents. They seemed to ignore it (to this day my oldest sister's wife of 7 years is her "roommate" when my dad speaks of her) but I was terrified because I was NOT ready for them to know. I have 3 kids and I hope they never have to feel like they're not able to share who they truly are with me. 💗💛💙

Jesus...just hearing someone I look up to so much say “I’m proud of you”..it makes me tear up. I’ve struggled with my sexuality for a long time. I’ve been bullied and harassed for showing off my pride and in that instance I felt so alone- especially since I had moved into a new school. But I am so grateful for having such amazing friends and people in my life who support me. And I am so honoured to be a part of this amazing community of people.
