“12% is the possibility that someone you love will love you back”
Cake and Seeiw, the 15th-grade students who are neighbors. They grew up and have taken care of each other since they were young. Cake and Seeiw are really close, even with their completely different personalities. Seeiw is fearful and prefers to stay quiet while Cake is easy-going and well-known to other people. How two best friends who are completely different can be more than friends. Let’s find the answer in “My Only 12%”.

This series is so underrated like no red flags, nothing vulgar or anything just pure innocent love that a single hug can be so romantic and all the emotions feel so realistic. It some how makes me want to believe that true love really exists and even little things can make you so happy, nothing forced just two souls in love with each other.

Santa and Cooheart are both great actors and DAMN Cooheart in this part slays it !!!! His long monologue, speaking his true feelings and the fact that they're both crying so hard... Cake is crying because he's aware of how he did hurt Eiw and feels guilty about it, Eiw is crying because he kept for so long his feelings... I love them, Santa and Cooheart are the best Cake and Eiw that could've existed 🤩
Eiw tears doesn’t seem fake or acting to me it seem like he thought of something that truly broke his heart…the way he cried when cake stopped hugging him..I felt it no lies and to think he was once bullied by some BL actors on set years back made me even cry more….I feel like he meant it when he said in this scene “I’m gay stop being friends with me” can’t remember the lines well

I’m so proud of Eiw for telling Cake how he felt! he’s come so far I love him so much!
See-Eiw broke my heart in this scene, he's got so much self-loathing for his sexuality, and so much of it was learned from media. It's one of the reasons I actually like Cake's response to Eiw pointing out that Cake is attracted to girls too. First, SO glad he didn't say 'I don't like guys I just like you', round of applause. Second, this takes place in the mid-2000s and I can confirm bisexual was not a thing people talked about--I am bi/pan and spent so long in the early 2000s so confused because I just liked people....I figured I must be a lesbian because I was attracted to women, and ignored my attraction to men until I fell hard for one, and then when I found out bisexual was an option it was SO FREEING (coming out as bi after being out as a lesbian sucked tho, and let me tell you I have seen a lot of biphobia). Anyway, all this is to say that it's actually realistic Cake would not have that word for himself in this scene. But, most importantly, See-Eiw associates so much self-hatred with being gay, so Cake identify as gay too with Eiw in this moment is super important to say, "I'm not a bad person, you love me, and we're the same, we experience the same emotions towards one another so it's not bad". It's a really lovely gesture in this moment, of solidarity and also reassurance 💕
yes, this!! also, they are showing asia in the 2000s. i only started identifying as bi some time after 2010s. its only natural they don't know all the labels but in a way, it's also showing that you deserve to be in love and be loved whether you choose to have a label or not

Idk if I should say this but I think I like both girls and boys. So, I took several sexuality tests which showed that I am bi. Once I tried to tell my friends and they showed so much disgust that in fear I told that I was joking and kept it hidden even now. Idk what should I do. So, yeah, earth's insecurity hits me at my fear point.

Coming out is sharing a part of yourself and is a gift of trust for exactly this reason, not bringing it up again is smart self protection and you don't owe them anything. I believe you'll find people you can be comfortable sharing that part of yourself with in the future 💕

Earth is a brilliant actor especially in the emotional scenes, he always manages to convey every emotion perfectly... And Santa, despite having a short time in the industry, has shown his talent and potential, both have really done an excellent job. This series is a true gem.
These two can make you feel and live the emotions their characters are feeling. The pain in their voices, eyes and the love speaks and resonates with you on a different level

The dialogues Cake and Eiw have are so revealing. I knew that Cake was being selfish, but hearing Eiw talk about how it made him feel really shed more light on Cake's actions.

I like the fact that finally finally... Eiw is communicating to Cake how he felt all along over the years... Nd telling Cake was he ever the one to wait?!. He too didn't want to share Cake with Rin. But he didn't say anything and respected his feelings. And Cake got all grumpy with just few months of having to share Eiw with PPL. Nd Eiw deserves his feelings to be respected too. Letting out those honestly I guess was extremely important for the both of them to knw what the other went through all along and bring the transpiracy between them. Honestly I love it all 💜

He finally let out what he's been keeping in for whole 5 years and (probably more without realising his feelings before that) i cried when they were crying.
They are angry/frustrated/disappointed with each other and yet...respectful when sorting their problems together. No toxic gaslighting or anything...just stating what they felt and how things are. I love SANTA-EARTH and their performance is commendable 🥂🥂❤❤

Rewatching this scene we realize how well the dialog is written.
Eiw confessing, Cake acting on his feeling, all Eiw's fears coming back and him actually voicing out all he said to his sister in his past, Cake reassuring him gently, giving him confidence in their love... beautiful!
It's actually a blessing for them that they got separated cause they both got to know their true feeling, but even more that Cake got to grow up in USA because the confession scene would have turn another way without his experience abroad.
Such a touching scene and there wasn't even a kiss. That's proof how good the crew did on this 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Cake's regret is showing through his bone-crushing desperate hug. Poor boy ddn't know how to handle his jealousy and took it out on the one person he loves the most. When listening to Eiw's confession he felt so sorry, especially after realising how much he had hurt Eiw with his ignorance.
This dialouge and acting is one of the best I have ever seen in a drama.

I have watched these episodes over and over again. I love how Cake is the one who is always angry and starts a fight but the moment Eiw cries, Cake is no longer angry. He just apologises without a second thought. Earth and Santa just nailed it. They are too perfect at what they do ❤️

This habit of Eiw of having Cake read the consequences of something harmful is really remarkable and sweet. Both the times he found the smell of smoking and now drinking alcohol, instead of lecturing and scolding he has him understand the harm that these things cause. These small but precious moments are really noteworthy, kudos to the screenwriter for writing such a great plot!
Honestly, just like the other viewers, I'm equally surprised as to how this series has so less views and comments! Just like precious gems are hard to find, maybe this series will take time too for the people to find out..... I hope that it gets the recognition soon enough.... They deserve it totally!!!
