keep in mind alot of your testing was on low level bosses and the easiest boss such as boar. As you get to alot of d10 or forbidden dungeons and such 60+ percent becomes essential to not being resisted. As some people are saying they did tests and seen no accuracy is needed. The confusion comes in the wording of the effect accuracy saying it doesnt increase chance of set value. That is purely meant like you stated in video only way to increase the proc chance is by raising the skill level then it still has to pass the resist check regardless.
dmg formula is 50% -60% of all stats because you need survivability too. for most mid-spenders or ftp you dont have op awakened heroes too many it means they need to be balanced this is crucial for dungeons like the one for the orb and belt-2headed dragon dungeon. Basically the best thing you can do is see on youtube which heroes are most crucial for key dungeons and build those first. spending too much awakened material on non-key heroes is a waste which will greatly stall you.
I’m not looking for how to build heroes. I am trying to figure out the damage formula. Like is adding more ATK multiplicative or additive. How exactly does DEF affect damage. Is it lowering the ATK stat of the attacker or doing a percent decrease.
Great video, thanks for putting the effort to make the tests. My Sigrun has 90%+ resistance but still get quite some debuffs, like interupting here charge attack. Do you also know how hit accuracy works? My Bedivere sometimes miss his skills, so not even damage get the Boss, even on 20% hit accuracy.
Also, is there a difference in skills that have no % in description, and skills that have 100% rate to hit, I think Tristan has 100% rate without upgrade. Or just different way to describe, but works same.
high level bosses have evasion stat and most people that are worried about the misses are trying for 30% hit accuracy. You can only get that stat on ears or orb. You can be stunned or have debuffs put on you even with 100% resist, but your resist can go higher. pve stats can go as high as devs want to make it challenging so they could have 500% eff accuracy and no matter what your resist is you would still have chance to be interuppted but i would say 90% is more than enough for most all scenarios
@@jobbelukas8017 its just different ways of writing it. if it doesnt give a percent it should be 100% chance to proc. then has to pass that effect accuracy check to land said negative effect

Works exactly like it does in most other games with acc/res, the wording just confuses people
