      @GlidgetRonan this was a great lesson on frame. Bringing up a physical contest out of nowhere, in the midst of a debate about sales training came off desperate. The Wolf went away from that and called out his passion for sales, then shut it down at the end, calmly stating, "you don't want to be in a cage with me"

    Average Joe salesman here.
    What I’ve learned in my time of selling is that the conversationalist is usually the better salesman. The fact that Belfort is able to intricately, delicately weave between shot after shot and fire back with corrections, questions, all while maintaining the peace is something to be noted. You can definitely tell who has the silver tongue and who doesn’t.

    • @LonnieLawless
      @LonnieLawless 3 месяца назад +7

      He also set the tempo and dictated the pace throughout the conversation. I believe there is something to be said about that as well.

    • @lilsand.
      @lilsand. 2 месяца назад +3

      100% this, all my of recruits that performed the best and with the least amount of stress were the ones that would be able to flow in and out of any conversation. There's just such a huge part of sales that has to do with connecting to your audience. And to be able to connect with the most people possible is to be able to put together different tools for the subjective need. As an example, creating hypotheticals that apply specifically to their audience's values. The easiest one involves using leading questions to figure out what kinds of problems the customer faces, and then presenting them with multiple solutions to their problems, most of the time only one of the solutions is plausible and the rest are there to create an anchor price. If there aren't any problems that the customer presents, you present them with reasons why they have a problem while reinforcing that its even more of a concerning problem because they didn't realize it was one. The best ones will make you think that you came up with their solution all on your own, making you even more connected to the BS we funnel down your eyes.
      We will sucker you in and make you think that you are winning, you aren't, especially not during the first 3 weeks of the month. If you ever want to take advantage of any salesman, you'll get the further with negotiations during the last 1-3 days of the month. Almost everyone of us DoucheCanoe Co. style companies use a monthly target/reward system, and almost all salesman are in one of two boats and both boats have two weaknesses for you to exploit during those final days of the month, their Greed and the Pressure that they are under to fulfil that greed.
      Boat One: They are behind on their monthly target for the bonus
      Boat Two: They are trying to be one of the top earners of the month for the bonus
      Before you ask, I run a company that vets possible candidates as well as processing their psych evals and manipulation training, obviously we use more BS marketing/HR terms for my position and duties. Successful recruits then take an accredited Defensive Sea Fairing course. And then they are set out free to the world, creating their own networks of recruits, that eventually follow the same routes of doing the training and create their own networks, almost like a rhombus shape, where everyone makes money.
      By the end of it all they are renting out mobile pickling storage facilities for fishermen and tourists that are already out at sea. They take small vessels out to sea and pretty much do door to door sales but sea vessel to sea vessel. You'd be shocked at the kinds of things people choose to pickle in international waters. Its a very niche market that we operate a monopoly on every part of the operation by having our loop of LLC's hide the parent company that owns all of these companies that are part of the process that their networks to use.

    Jordan is clearly more intelligent than Grant. This is pretty embarrassing for Grant, mainly because his ego couldn’t give any charity to Jordan. I’d imagine that Grant feels extra fraudulent around Jordan, because he is aware of Jordan’s success and knowledge, and so he has extra high defenses up. The potential loss of his business reputation through exposure by Jordan is why he is so scared of being honest with Jordan. Grant does not at all seem like an honest guy-Not that this means Jordan is, but he is much better at seeming honest in his beliefs, while Grant feels like he’s constantly putting up a facade. This is all from outside observations-I don’t follow these guys and am not a fan of either, but in general Jordan is much more likeable. Maybe he’s just a better sociopath than Grant, but he is clearly secure in his knowledge whereas Grant is not.

    Just subbed brother, If you can make some videos between male and female attraction I think your channel will do great numbers plus would make for some very interesting content considering the angles you take.

    It’s crazy what happens when you sit two scammers down; they manage to expose the parts of each other we already knew, that they thought were hidden

    Like someone else said, you have big potential here. Just some constructive criticism; maybe keep your analysis on the shorter end instead of letting 20 seconds play then proceeding to dissect every frame. Or even if you let the full clip play, then go back and analyze.
    Good luck to you man!

      Honestly, It’s like a machine gun trying to translate a chinese small home decorative waterfall.
      Either use less words or use a simpler language. You’re building very large sentences with long and hard words. And you are a lot louder than the speakers. Do some meditation and use AI to construct easier to understand sentences.
      And don't pick a side. If you’re doing an analysis try to be fully unbiased. Let the viewer choose the side. What’s the point of watching your video if you already said what will happen in the first 10 seconds.

    Grants first answer of “everyone’s a buyer” was supposed to be a power move on jordan by blatantly not addressing the actual question in its intended purpose, just to try and make jordan look dumb for thinking that way. It later blew up in his face when jordan got him to contradict himself

    The pal statement at the end would have made me laugh my ass off in front of him.
