Love the good sportsmanship! No dirty stuff throughout the battle just fair & smart defensive racing. Thumbs up at the end to each other from Canard and JS7 to express their mutual respect for each other.
Look at the lap times at the top of the screen in the beginning of the video: James Stewart 1:59:736 Trey Canard 1:59:226 Justin Barcia 1:59:124 Ryan Dungey 1:59:491 All matching each others... and then, there's Villopoto: 1:57:549...
Canard is pure talent. I mean, he won his first supercross race and as always be on the top once he began his pro career. If he wasn't unlucky, he'll be one hell of dude, and Villopoto would have some problems with the guy.
One of THE best motocros races ever. Trey Canard seemed to have the better handling bike, and they are literally as fast as each other. Respect to both, for fantastic sportsmanship! The only other two races, similar to this is Carmichael v 'Bubba' Stewart (can't remember the exact race), but also Mark Barnett v Jonny O'Mara (or 'Jonny O'), back in the early 80s, at a supercross event (again, can't remember which one). All awesome, flat-out (pinned) racing. Beautiful stuff. Thanks for uploading!🤩👍😎
Canard thanks the good lord Jesus Christ for keeping him safe. Although the good lord let him suffer 4 broken wrists, broken collarbone and broken femur. Also the good lord let his father die in a tractor accident. But every time that Canard finishes a race without injury, all credit goes to the good lord Jesus Christ. No blame to the good lord Jesus Christ for all the bad shit that happens to him and his family
Both phenominal riders, at one time when Stewart was in his prime, he consistantly was winning every race, i dont think anyone could beat him, this was a great race....
Funny how the announcers pumped trey canard up and he still lost ... they try to down play the greatest that ever rode a motocross bike 🤦♂️ low key HATERS 💯 Great race JS7!!!
Thank you so much for posting this and the duration of the video. Great stuff. Moto 2 as well. Wish I could have seen my boy Canard take this moto. Hope to see both of them up there more often.
I like both of these riders more and more all the time! Though Trey is personally my favorite. We got to pray together at supercross in Dallas this year!
I was watching this live that day standing in the group of people behind the podium. It was a great day of racing and lots of fun to see such a great battle. Love Millville.
I'm always so amazed why such big gaps in rider positions.Six or so great riders and the rest of the pros, well just there to make a paycheck...Oh yea...Love the battle between 2 riders but would rather see the whole gate battle the whole race...Just a vision I have...four wide ...
Toughest sport on the planet, besides the tour de France. They aren't on a flat field chasing a ball back-and-forth. There are no time-outs OR substitutions. Have a great day & support your local moto-cross riders!!!🇺🇸
Yeah. More fiercely broken bones in motocross but endurance wise tour takes it as hardest with still chance of broken bones and pretty much 100% chance of crashing in 21 days. Both a young mans sport obviously
Cheers to Brother James Stewart. ♥️ Here, as an Indonesian citizen, I really admire you in the world of cross motorbikes...👍👍 If I had enough money, I would try to meet Brother JAMES STEWARD and would like to wish you good health and always be on the number 1 podium in the world of cross motorbikes. I once dreamed of becoming a cross motorbike racer but only had economic limitations Cheers to brother JAMES STEWARD, good luck always 👍👍♥️
Canard's career has been plagued by injury. Don't let his record fool you, he is FAST! This was awesome clean racing by both of them. Great race! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!
On the straights it seemed like that Suzuki was low on power that Honda would just pull up quick. Miss Stewart he was fun too watch. Have to watch old videos but never gets boring!
Nothing will beat the time the track dried up half way through the race, I think redbud and they started taking the huge off camber double with mud still being on it! The most sketchy but coolest thing I’ve even seen in my life
I have no idea what's going on in MX and SX now. The last time I followed intensely was during RV's 3-peat SX titles. I have been a MX fan since the 80's and had subs to Dirt Bike and MXA magazines.
I wish THAT Trey would show up consistently at the races. He has the ability to be so fast but if inconsistency is what keeps him from leaving the track on a stretcher again then I'll gladly watch him battle for the lead one week and settle for 8th the next.
james became a prima Donna when he got rich. just watch his show bubbas world. I think he didn't want to do outdoors because outdoors is too hard. two 35 minute motos, extreme heat, all that extra travel sucks. if he can get paid well for sipercross only who can blame him for taking it?
+Aye Zee Dude Stewart is known as one of the pro riders in the best physical condition out there. A reality TV show does not portray who a person really is. If THAT is what you're judging him off of then you need to get a lot better at judging people if you're going to do it. Everyone becomes a princess after they're rich. Villopoto didn't talk to his family for 2 years after he got rich and his family sold a house and neglected the other 2 kids to support him. James is physical dude. No doubt about it.
Canards bike was setup perfectly....when rider doesn't look like he is even trying and putting it wherever he wants is a sign on setup......Stewarts looked a lil more rough but he got it done.....great cpl of laps
F5 and shift - are the major issue on hacked places. Spliced codes = 100% switched id's. If one uses a remote service - it must be configured with the Front Page server Extensions. Hence F5 - uses extensions or partitions of hard drive.
james the greatest + honda curse . don't ever let RC leave ---- so for all 686 thumbs down---- you don't understand motocross - james and trey are virtual demi gods - but RC is the Super OG
People forget that Jame's racecraft is probably the best of any rider today. Looked like Canard was much faster at the end there...but he had no chance to pass Stewie...
Canard was one of those dudes that could just straight up ride. I truly think he would have been one of the greats had he been able to stay healthy.
Agreed. Reminds me of Robbie Reynard. They both have incredible bike skill and both were injury riddled. I believe they’re from the same area too??
Great sportsmanship at the end of the race from those two. Always good to see that standard of racing did in respect
It feels good to know they do have great sportsmanship for such a tough sport
James isn't a bad guy like everyone makes him out to be and canard is just a good guy. He proves that nice guys don't finish last 😎
@@jraybay ××

One of the GOATs, no doubt about it.

James steward is my favorite dirt bike rider, i'll be like you in oneday. Keep going man
Did you become like James?

if canard didn't have all those injuries he'd have a lot of wins. hes one of the fastest out there
He is all class
Yeah he goes overboard on the Jesus stuff. Sad he watched his dad die in a tractor accident. Good kid.
Aye Zee no he doesn't go overboard , it's just not some people want to hear that consistently to each his own
Aye Zee he must be one of the fastest by the way he's pushing Stewart.
Canard thanks the good lord Jesus Christ for keeping him safe. Although the good lord let him suffer 4 broken wrists, broken collarbone and broken femur. Also the good lord let his father die in a tractor accident.

I’ve met canard several times away from the races and at local tracks and he’s such a good dude....such an amazing down to earth awesome guy.
Both phenominal riders, at one time when Stewart was in his prime, he consistantly was winning every race, i dont think anyone could beat him, this was a great race....
I love seeing the great sportsmanship as when they gave each other a thumbs up
:)
Funny how the announcers pumped trey canard up and he still lost ... they try to down play the greatest that ever rode a motocross bike 🤦♂️ low key HATERS 💯 Great race JS7!!!
Good to see them having good sportsmanship for one another, an enemy is the last thing you want in these races.
I miss watching both
Two of the most talented dudes to throw a leg over a bike.
4:07 he wheelies up that step up!!!!
I noticed that too. Daytona 2011 vibes lol
Damn
Great job Stewart..
Thank you so much for posting this and the duration of the video. Great stuff. Moto 2 as well. Wish I could have seen my boy Canard take this moto. Hope to see both of them up there more often.
nothing better than watching a great battle
With RV out for the season, I HOPE we can look forward to battles like this. Clean racing, but really good racing.
I'll never forget watching Stewart, reed, and Carmichael in st. Louis. It was one of Carmichael's final races before he retired.
James Stewart was such a beast. I wish i was into moto at that time. So many greats. It's up to the new generation now
I like both of these riders more and more all the time! Though Trey is personally my favorite. We got to pray together at supercross in Dallas this year!

I want Canard to be the next champion. The guy is so nice and talented. He deserves it.
James is a great rider!
Man james is beast
Super talented and Technical in style.
this was some DAMN good racing!!! I love seeing racers giving it their all!
Canard.... So much talent with shit luck.
WOW
Can not believe I haven't seen this before, great race, James was pushed right till the end Trey was on it.

Damn I miss watching bubba race. He was the fastest man alive!
Great battle between the two. I thought these two had past it, but this video proves me wrong haha, great vid
Damm fine racing there!

JakeNoBrake 78 the Chadapult
Brenden E I just got your reply 😂 that was over a year ago 😂😂
Amazing race. Stewart made everyone step their game up come race day, and Trey was on his back fender.
Respect Stewart!
Canard was so good. One of the greatest battles I’ve ever seen.

Canard's career has been plagued by injury. Don't let his record fool you, he is FAST! This was awesome clean racing by both of them. Great race! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!
Trey Canard had world class speed,..he just couldnt avoid all those injuries..
The speed is insane!
races like this is why I like MX so much.
Canard is such a natural talent, pity about the injury run he has had.
Thats crazy batle and epic batle of motocross.
On the straights it seemed like that Suzuki was low on power that Honda would just pull up quick. Miss Stewart he was fun too watch. Have to watch old videos but never gets boring!

Great racing!! Class Acts right there..Stewart for Des Nations this year!!
So Barcia was a youngbuck/newcomer back then ?! And he's still going strong now ! That's dope.
Stewarts a alien he must be so fast! Yet Canard is a fastist stylish rider.good video thx!
One of the best motos all season!
Grandissimo James "Bubba" Stewart e Trey Canard, bellissimi ultimi 3 giri, e grande sportività !!!

Don’t ever tell me Suzuki sucks put top tier rider on that bike and it wins!!🏆
Can confirm this is still savage AF in 2023 ✊️
That was a riding lesson. JS7 was a phenomenon on a dirt bike.
Respect !!this guys were born to do that!
I wish James rode outdoor more often
+jraybay James was baned from doing ama races this year. Next year he can race again ama though.
+JJH186 I know that, I'm talking about his career... I remember when he was on the rise and he had some amazing races with Carmichael.
+jraybay oh yeah. When I was little, I loved Carmichael. I use to watch them battle, it was a good time lol.
james became a prima Donna when he got rich. just watch his show bubbas world. I think he didn't want to do outdoors because outdoors is too hard. two 35 minute motos, extreme heat, all that extra travel sucks. if he can get paid well for sipercross only who can blame him for taking it?

Awesome entertaiment done by both, love it how Canard pushed till last meters :)
Both riders were/are awesome.
Was amazing in person to watch
This video looks extremely compressed...even at 1080
Canards bike was setup perfectly....when rider doesn't look like he is even trying and putting it wherever he wants is a sign on setup......Stewarts looked a lil more rough but he got it done.....great cpl of laps
I sure miss canard man if he never had all those crashes he could possibly still be out there and absolutely killing it.
Real talent. Fantastic to watch.
