That was pretty wild! That Joker and Roy match was the highlight for me, though. I don't know how some people willingly play Smash 4 player Free-For-All with items as it just gets too overwhelming. I can only imagine the lag you get with those types of matches as well. I just stick with itemless 1 vs 1 matches online. 😅
Lag aside, I actually really like casual FFA's. All my friends are gamers, so free for all items is easily some of the most fun we've ever had. It's not as good online, but the funniest things definitely happen with items on.
your comment at 0:28 is a good one. While in game, all names of all characters are all caps, except when it's brand stuff like ''Wii Fit'' in which case it's written how it was for the brand. Since trainer isn't trademarked, they put it in all caps, as is the default. It's also the case for Mii BRAWLER, Mii SWORDFIGHTER and Mii GUNNER
You dont need to be competitive to get into elite with at least one character friend. Trust me when I say this. Im myself a casual smash player, and I could get Elite with certain characters and no cheap rulesets either. Its just a matter of keep playing the game, and learning as you go along. Sadly, in QP, anything goes, so you may end up with some dirty bastards unfortunately that will ruin it regardless, on top of bad online netcode creating misinputs. Just keep on practicing, and one day you will get one character in there.
