It's true that _Slender: The Arrival_ didn't get the good attention it deserved back then. It did become a cult classic, though, and I'm glad it's gotten even more recognition and appreciation now that its 10th Anniversary update was made! For some reason, I thought that you were gonna completely trash on the game (I guess since most people who made analysis videos on it didn't think it was very good), but no. You brought up very good and fair points, regarding both the good and the bad, and I was happy to hear you say that you believe it to be the best Slender game that's out there. I agree, honestly. It isn't one of the best _horror_ games, but it was still a pretty good one at the time it came out, and with its graphical overhaul and its additional extended chapter, it's gotten so much better, and still absolutely steals the #1 spot in terms of Slender games. With how often we've seen Slenderman treated as a joke over the years, I'm also happy that _Slender: The Arrival_ actually takes him seriously as a threat, and that they still keep his origin and motivation mostly hidden. Though, with the notes and collectibles, people can still piece those together if they look deeply enough into it. Wonderful video, honestly! You've earned a new +Subscriber in me, and I'm looking forward to your upcoming video that's dedicated to talking about _Slender: The Arrival._ :)
Thank you, I really appreciate that! Yeah, like I said, the main thing I dislike about The Arrival is the way the story is told. The story itself is really good too, in my opinion at least, which only makes it more of a shame that it's presented in this vague manner, because most people will miss it that way. Anyway, I'll go more in depth on some of my opinions about the game in the dedicated video on The Arrival, though that video will probably come out somewhere early next year, as I have some other things planned before that. So apologies in advance for the wait haha. Again, thanks for the sub and for watching! :)
@@TheRemster115 You're very welcome! And no worries for waiting, I'm patient. :3 I can't really imagine that most people would miss out on the story, because from my experience and from what I've seen of pretty much everyone who plays this game, they pick up whatever collectibles they can find. Not all of them, obviously, since some of them are kinda hidden (I'm looking at you, Note #4), but still the majority of them. I do know that there are certainly people out there who wouldn't think to pick up any of the collectibles, and that's fair. I personally pick up any that I see, though, out of curiosity and wanting to gather whatever clues that could relate to the story that I can.
0:22 I really wish I could say it would be Treasure Island or Ted the Caver or even Godzilla NES, those stories have been greatly outshadowed by bigger (and crappier) internet horror stories.
Yeah, true. I believe Slenderman had a very interesting concept though. It's just that the internet memefied him into a complete joke, and it's mainly that part that most people remember him for now. Thanks for watching! :)
Sonic.Exe and Sonic Omt Changed My Life Forever they have always been my favourite childhood characters including deadpool and superman they arent creepypastas but I used to watch deadpool and superman movies as a kid so it obviously does bring back memories to me and other people cause it just didnt just change my life it changed many people's life as well
@@TheRemster115 Good to know the prophecy will be fulfilled eventually. I really hope you get more views man it's criminal how underrated your channel is.
Thank you, I appreciate that! :) I hope so too haha. I believe my incredibly inconsistent upload schedule is mostly to blame for that. I'm currently trying to find a style of videos that I can make more quickly inbetween these retrospectives that take me months to create, just so I'm not gone for 3 months after every upload. But that's a work in progress haha. Again, I appreciate the support, thank you!!
I think another reason for slenderman fading away is because sony now has the rights to him, making it difficult for people to make anything around slenderman

Let me know what classic creepypasta you'd like to see me cover next!
Jeff the killer or Herobrine or even entity 303
