One of my boss' bodyguards used to have lunch with us and he told us that they are trained to push away anyone that tríes to get closer. He did not like to do that to women because they can't do it nicely (and you never know) but they have to do it like it or not.

Imagine how easier things would be for any celebrity, not only BTS, if some "fans" actually treated them like human beings - with respect to their personal space and privacy. If you actually happen to see them in real life just keep a distance, don't stalk or mob them, don't share photos on social media if that's a personal event. That's not how you treat a person you should care for.

Hurts my heart when Jimin said he didn't have time to even look around, Hobi can't shop in peace and Taehyung having to run into the car just to take cover from saesangs. I love traveling/walking out alone and shopping/window shopping when I have time - I really enjoy it. It's me time - no thoughts of my usual stress. These guys can't even do that :(
I am addicted to watching their airport videos. I love watching how their bodyguards protect them. All the staff working with BTS , protecting, or working on RUN BTS or taking care of their look s ...etc deserve to be respected and appreciated. They are part of the succes. 👍👍

That's why not all talented people can become famous like BTS, imagine the stress, they are also living in the prison of fame, they can't go anywhere or do anything freely, yes, they are famous, and they are super rich, but their lives are also super stressful.

They won’t hurt you unless you are doing something wrong. You would only be pushed if you are in the way. It is their job to protect BTS. They do a great job and I am thankful they take their job seriously 💜💜💜

5:56 this girl is an infamous sasaeng, she is known as the "no pants girl", followed bts everywhere during the tour, she followed them from country to country, and tried booking a plane seat next to one of the members, not sure if she succeeded tho. But there is definitely one time when a sasaeng booked a seat right next to the members in one flight, I can't imagine how uncomfortable they must have felt, how much stress, the bodyguards and bts would have had, not knowing what she was gonna do for the whole flight

yeah... Apparently she got blacklisted by bighit (hybe), and may be one of the reasons why bts went on private jets for a while (among other reasons). She also apparently stalked other bighit groups, and Stray Kids (another kpop group)
About following them during the tour... I just tried to fact check (but it's really difficult bc armys and other fandoms hate her so much, they blame everything related to sasaengs on this sasaeng) and she may not be the one that followed them on the plane
Unsung HEROES. Period. I think about the job they do, and the wonderful people that BTS are, and I imagine what it was like at the first meeting BigHit had with them about employing security/bodyguards....I bet that they were taken aback. Imagine being so young and realizing that you were gonna have to PAY someone to protect you with their life if need be....that's a LOT to handle. I've no doubt the members do NOT take these guys for granted.

It is a shame these men show so much respect then there are times like these that they get so little respect in return. It is good to know that there are men like there security that are there to protect them. I appreciate the lady in the beginning that shout to the fans not to touch. Warms my heart. And it is sweet that Jungkook 'had' to shake hands with the Korean fan. Jimin, speedy healing!
There have been real threat to some of the boys, threat to life actually!! I can't imagine the pressure their bodyguards must feel at those times! It's almost their sole responsibility to get them to safety in one piece. BTS' recent visit to LA was such a releif when V and Jhope could spend their time in Hawaii, when Namjoon & Suga visited all the places they liked and nobody knew until they posted abt it themselves. That's how it should always actually be! The boys truly appreciate those gestures, so much so that they thanked army in social media.
Unfortunately this happens to celebrities and it won’t change. Been happening for years everywhere.
But, those of us who are aware and can provide that can reduce the impact and maybe set an example for others. Just a thought. 💞

My friend saw RM one time and he signed her autograph and gave her a hat and a key holder. Took pictures with him. She told me and we kept silent till RM posted the pictures two weeks after the incident. It took her months to comment and thank RM for the gift. She still never posted the gifts and pictures because she said their privacy was what was needed and am glad she did. She bought a safe and kept her items she was given by RM her cousin wanted to streak and sell it so she sent it to the bank to be kept in safe for her
Maybe I'm weird but I don't really want to meet them in person not even at a fan sign because their in basically at work and I definitely wouldn't approach them while their out. I enjoy listening to their music, watching them be free around each other on stage or in run episoded and show what they feel comfortable showing. They have a right to keep somethings to themselves.

Such a huge price to pay for what is essentially a gift to all of us. Yes, they get paid a lot of money and yes they are famous but relative to how restrictive this make life for them, they must question at times whether it’s worth it. It is so selfish of people to feel they have a right to impose themselves on others. And how scary too. When all the high pitched screaming is going it puts my nerves on edge just from the video. If I was surrounded by that, I would be scared.
That and when they get chased too or people try to lunge at them, oh lord.

I didn't feel like they are celebrities when I watch Run episodes, bngtan bombs or any variety shows they are in. But when I see these videos, it gives me reality shock tht they are indeed very famous celebrities. Its just bizarre but also emphasize tht they are humble and human too. I wish those fans gave them space when its due like when they are in a shop or when they clearly doesn't want to be film.
So glad that they have these people around them. It has to be horribly frustrating for them. Certainly unsung heroes for sure. I think I read somewhere between yesterday and today that it was Jimin’s Manager that made sure Jimin got to the hospital quickly on the 30th.

I cannot understand the mentality of these psychophants. The guys will never respect anyone who does this to them. Maybe stand back, give them some space and privacy, and in return they may CHOOSE to wave at you from afar instead. Nobody has the right to scare another person, or to try kissing/touching them forcefully - so its only right that those who do behave like this are dealt with.
I'm thankful to the Army's who do respect the guys' right to space and privacy - they share so much of thier lives with us already, so let's cherish them and protect them in every way we can.

the girl who was at the airport near them alone.. she got access because her family has influence, she is a stalker. She was on the same plane as the boys. The same guy who filmed the boys is from Korea, like it's TMZ, it's everywhere. I'm glad that in Korea and Japan the boys feel more comfortable because the fans have a culture of not bothering them.
I have watch a video clip interview that they have around 250 bodyguards whenever they travel.

They have fame and money but they can’t have a normal life going out for a meal or shopping. I live in an area which has quite a lot of celebrities (on the other side of town to my home) so I have met a few of them. I treated them like anyone else I meet in the queue in the shop. I didn’t let on I knew who they were I just had a chat with them as I would anyone else in the queue. No one deserves to be hounded by fans. BTS have enough official cameras in their lives.

That “24 7 paps tv” is paparazzi and in the US. Celebrity culture in the US is a lot worse than where they’re from when it comes to what is considered acceptable when it comes to people who are famous. I can’t imagine how frightening it is to deal with the level of fanaticism in a place like this and just the contrast of what they’re used to. I know they get crazy crowds and fans everywhere…. There’s just no such thing as privacy in the US especially with paparazzi…. I feel so bad for them. They’re such sweet and kind people who deserve the world…. It’s really hard seeing them scared.

I will never understand the behavior of deranged people like those. First, if I saw them in real life face to face I mean, no concerts, I'd probably faint so no time to scream or run to them xD Jokes aside, I sure would go O_O and look immediately down or around or anywhere else in order to not make them feel bad. I don't know why there are these degrees of fan behavior. I used to work at the airport in Madrid, a lot of famous people came by (also downtown Madrid) and I would talk to them as I would talk to any other customer. Some were super funny and actually engaged in conversation, whereas a small amount would be like "don't you know who I am" (in a bad way, not joking and going "wow, that's great")
People have jobs in entertainment: actors, musicians, writers... and that's why it's called entertainment. They expose themselves to the public eye. But there shouldn't be much more to it. And tabloids/gossip magazines/paparazzi should be banned >_

After seeing thise clips Army created purple ribbon club they are armys pritecting them on international airport all over the world. If they knew boys are coming. Japan or Japanese Army is the safest. Even during their concerts they dont touch the boys if they walk in arena. Thats how disciplined and respectful they are. If there’s bad incident in Japan like one of those clips its not J-Army those are Korean Sasaengs who followed them even in plane and hotel they stayed in. So creepy
