Angry Italian mayors rage at people ignoring coronavirus lockdown rules

- Many mayors in Italy have started to use their social media pages to remind citizens to stay at home as Italy tightens its lockdown across the country in a bid to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
According to the Italian Interior Ministry, the majority of the population is currently following the rules, but on Monday they also announced that more than 90,000 people had been charged for breaking the lockdown measures.
The death toll from an outbreak of coronavirus in Italy rose by 602 on Monday, marking a slight decrease from the number of deaths of the previous two days, 793 on Saturday and 651 on Sunday.

No, I'm sorry you thought you were a superior race,like germans,dutch,swedish,english people did and still do,where you were all still hanging out,chilling under the the spring sun,while we were like real friends worried for you.The racism,there's no other word to describe it,is not even hidden by scientists (check Anders Tegnell)who talk on national tv saying that it won't happen in their country.Why? Because one of the richest and advanced place on earth ,in terms of medical technology is not going to be better than theirs health system.Northern europeans cannot be trusted in the statistics they are giving and the "kind" words they pretend to have for italians .

Actually here in Italy we are taking this very seriously and streets are almost empty everywhere. I have been staying home for weeks now and I can tell the same for the great majority of the people in my country; of course there were some exception, especially at the beginning when the situation was still unclear, but there are people here closed in their homes from the very beginning, who have been staying alone, away from their families and affections for so long, and still are.

@@BossDes7 Well I personally don't have that issue. What is a fact, is that you work overall longer hours and you take less breaks. You don't want to be disturbed or your tolerance to disturbances is much lower, that I have noticed, perhaps a side effect of no longer having colleagues around you. I don't experience it as stress though. But I don't want to trade it up to get up early on a Monday morning to drag myself out of bed and face morning traffic/ awful weather /lack of sleep.

They were right, it was not acaptiple in march 2020... because people were litarly dying every day. I remember the day masks werent used in supermarkets after the first hard lockdown...because redtrictions were just for health people, doctors, ect.

I remember an old woman who was with them smoked infront of an store, she died from corona in the second lockdown.
