Atsushi could be Albedo because when he was created his creator/mother (I can't spell her name) added some extra DNA as extra like "defence mechanism" where he could turn into a tiger to protect himself. He didn't know he could do this because he was never told about it. He is can live for ages as we know Albedo is already 400+ years old and he continued living as the world continued and losing his friends in the process sort of broke him so he became more emotional which caused the tiger to come out. He stayed at an orphanage for a while until he sorted out a place he could fit into in this world. Then it continues as Atsushi. Could also be that, since Klee is either a full or half elf, she could live longer, but isn’t immortal. Maybe Albedo was so destroyed after all the things that he had lost, he pulled out a Scaramouche and forced amnesia into himself after her death…
tbh i think the only way it could work would be a reincarnation scenario where albedo had died after he lost control and got reborn as atsushi in bsd or something ?? lol ANYWAYS fantastic work as always 💪😼!!!!
I could see him being from the past, since Albedo is a fake human he probably would live longer that at least some (I guess??) Which could lead to him starting a new life if everyone else had died, where he maybe acts more human to either fit in or because he became more human. He'd probably change his appearance to not be recognized as someone who's lived that long

Hmm, there's a theory that atsushi was created from the book. So maybe we can say like how albedo isn't human, atsushi was created by the book. As for the place, there's a theory that they at is actually upside down. So let's say you have earth. But in the core you have teyvat, which is like in its own little worlds with abilities that follow different laws. Albedo(atsushi) has his vision in teyvat, or the core, however it becomes in valid when he's on earth side due to the different laws of nature. Thus also altering his appearance. Just an idea -^-
