- On Sunday, December 4, 2016, 32-year-old Rosemere Silva and 30-year-old Udirley Damasceno were planning to get married in a rural area on the outskirts of the Brazilian city of São Paulo. The bride, wanting to surprise her groom and guests, decided to arrive at the wedding ceremony by helicopter. I know what her brother was feeling all too well. He should have told the want to be princess no. I did just that to a want to be prince after the final flight we went on. I refused to tempt the Lord by going again. What a relief to know that I will not enter into any air flying machine again.

It was sad the bride and her brother died, but the wedding photographer was six months pregnant, and the pilot probably did not want to let the bride down. This was sad because no one had mentioned the photographer’s husband, who lost his wife and soon to be baby that very day.
You may be correct - I knew someone who ran a business like this and he insisted that , as well as the helicopter, the clients booked a limo.If he felt the trip was a ' no go' then it was much easier to switch to the Limo as they had advance notice and the pressure on him (to deliver for the bride or whoever at all costs) was far lower ..it was how he ran things and most clients had no problem , once he explained himself!
It's sad, but some people never get to experience falling in love or a wedding so these people were still lucky to have experienced real love before their passing! The whole flying to your wedding in a helicopter is sort of selfish and silly though...

it is clear the pilot can not see where he is going. The narrator says limited visibility, but it doesn't look like any visibility. This is such an extremely tragic outcome. My condolences to all the family and friends. She was absolutely beautiful, they were all so young. God be with the families.

Its not really the helicopter fault but the pilot . No matter what vehicle, if you cant see but continue to operate it like normal, you will crash into something. Maybe all flying vehicles need cameras too see thru fog with 360 degree view like some military vehicles

Rest in peace to him as well, because it's a tragedy either way. All of them lost their life and it's pointless blaming someone who is not here. Yes there are things he should have done to ensure the safety of the flight but that doesn't mean his life was less important as anyone else's.
I’ve flown many times in a helicopter and once it started to rain. Thankfully we never had any issues when I flew. Before participating in something that can end badly you should always make sure they haven’t had major incidents happen especially if a pilot has had negative reports. Helicopters have crashed plenty of times and they are not usually made to fly in storms, rain, or fog! I remember flying once in some fog and rain but I had faith in our pilot being a helicopter pilot in the military previously and we were flying in a helicopter that can fly in some rain. The reason we were flying was to pick up a patient who had major injuries from an accident. We were paramedics on the helicopter

My wedding, 1979, had a custom designed gown, by a well known regional designer, a wedding at a church, reception at the country club with champagne, punch, hors d'oeuvre, and a wedding cake. Wedding was at six, and reception over by 9:00. The rehearsal and rehearsal dinner was the night before. Not very stressful.

That pilot was too overconfident for my liking. This was a risky endeavor to begin with. I would have been so angry at the pilot, but now he's dead too and it cost those people their lives. From the video, they should've landed somewhere already, and not have taken the chance once things and the view got very cloudy and misty. This was just wrong all over. They shouldn't have relied on GPS soley!

The titan submersible isn't really comparable imo. You can't really consider the titan an "accident", something due to oversight or human error, even just plain bad luck. It's not even a freak accident. They decided that rules and regulations were simply for fabricated consequences and not necessary so they cut every corner they could, as rich people tend to do. They knew the titan was unsafe and a death trap waiting to happen. They're also hardly "missing" and haven't been for some time. Having died in a catastrophic implosion there'd be little to nothing left to find.

Pilot failed to trust his gages...got disoriented and crashed.
I agree the pilot made a bad choice by not turning back or checking the weather. But ultimately, it’s the company or his bosses fault for chartering passengers in an aircraft not cleared for it. So sad either way . I’ll never fly in a helicopter. They’re like nothing. U go down your dead.

@@convid1941If the engines fail on a plane it can glide to the ground and if a helicopters engine fails it drops like a stone. HUGE difference.
A skilled chopper pilot who knows how to implement auto rotation can still bring it down safely even if the engine stalls out. A helicopter does have a measure of safety to it.
The pilot who flew Kobe Bryant and 8 other passengers did the same mistake. Flew while it was raining, foggy and cloudy. Sad, my deepest conlences to the bride to be, her friends and her family. Rest in Heaven. Hope they didn't suffer.

I knew a pilot who told me he had two rules simple rules he followed; keep up on maintenance and don't fly in bad weather. He told me a lot of pilots didn't adhere to these policies and that this was the reason for most accidents.
Over confidence can get yourself killed fast in aviation. That pilot knows you don't take flying for granted.
It was all meant to be a good day. The brother's smile and loyalty to his sister doing something he feared will forever be a noble prize for me❤ He died doing what he feared but next to someone he loved. ❤

All the pilot had to do was go back down when he noticed rain but instead, it became foggy and they could not see. Remember God gives warming signs before destruction and the devil is very sneaky. Remember people can rush their time to go too, and the graveyard is filled with people who died before their time.

This is what you call a “white out”. I was on a plane flying from Virginia Beach to Pittsburgh to my moms after i totaled my car falling asleep & it was a snowstorm but had fog over the city. I’m scared of planes & so is my mom. The pilot warned everyone to buckle up, he told us about the masks dropping, he told us to secure all of our belongings & put them under the seats. He told us everything, to he couldn’t see. I immediately texted my mom that i loved her & i hope to see her soon even though i knew she wouldn’t get it because of no service. The pilot was blinded by the fog. Due to his calmness, we survived it & landed on ice.
that poor guy....the brother...i cant imagine being terrified of even being more than 5 feet off the ground, then passing away in an avaiation accident. thats quite LITERALLY my worst nightmare😢
