- This is what I think why Jax is being hated or annoying some people lately… and I wanna make this clear I do not hate Jax I really like the character! I even ordered the official plushy not long ago… but I make this video to let it be known that he should still be a little likable as a jerk #theamazingdigitalcircus #glitchproductions #Jax

I think people are being a bit dramatic. It's only episode 2, and it's been said that he's a troubled character and will be explored later on.
This drama is also seems to be implying that "jerk = bad character", which is just objectively a bad take lol.
Nothing changed about his character from the pilot..

LITERALLY! nothing changed except for the fact that we got to see more of him being an ass!
In the pilot, they focused more on pomni than the other characters, so there wasn't much time to show Jax's jack-assery. But by episode 2, we've established a bit of the world pomni has to spend a long time in, so the show has time to show more of Jax being a dick
This is such a frankly unnecessary discussion topic. A character exhibiting antagonistic qualities does not mean that character needs to be "fixed". You wouldn’t say that Zuko was “fixed” in season three of avatar when he became a team player. He Grew. Characters need arcs to grow, and so that the audience can explore their motivations, and who they are as people.
There have only been two episodes, and practically no character development, because almost all we have seen so far is setting up the world and the characters who live in it. I get that the content drought for this fandom is extreme because of the sporadic releases. But you need to let the show do its thing for more an Hour before you start telling the creators they need to fix their characters, because you, an audience member with no idea where the story is going, knows better.
Even akaza from demon slayer killed a fan fav character rengoku but after backstory he is liked
If episode 3 happens, he might have to work at a fast food restaurant and get a redemption as teased for the season's preview

He annoyed me alot, but i'm fine with that, i like characters that are jerks, just not to a very VERY VERY extreme level.

While I do find Jax to be a funny character, I do think they should've fixed him in this episode.
