Back in the seventies, recordings of world class TT were few and far between, unless someone with an 8mm cam at your club came back with some grainy matches. We used to read about the legendary Hasegawa and his unorthodox grip and strange backhand, but you had to sort of picture his style in your mind with the descriptions and a few photos as a guide. Thank-you for these sorts of videos. It's great to see the extended rallies, rather than a few seconds of snippets. I was surprised how extensively he did use that backhand, and how his forehand really fit with the classical model of "looper".
