@@sveninatorsw The letters are the same but most of them are pronounced differently. Also technically Germans has ä, ö and ü but they are usually left aside. If they are listed they are after z.
Oh and ß has no reason to be part of the alphabet since no word can start with it.

This is so funny.. Since Tenchou's strength is her English, understanding of Japanese culture, and travelling, this game is basically impossible to lose for her
Garden Bird is so hilarious
Kiara has a superb understanding of Japanese culture for a foreigner, but lacks the experience of growing up in Japan, where you can pick up on things like the soy bean question. I think stuff like Japanese children stories, Japanese folklore (except the super popular one that's referenced in anime) and other stuff that's being taught in Japanese elementary and middle school would produce similar results. Also, we know (e.g. from the recent Alice Fiction stream) that history isn't exactly tenchou's strong suite, but if it's history outside of Japan, the Japaneses members would most likely score equally bad or even worse^^
And of course, math would kill our tenchou 😂 Would be curious to hear what her answer would have been to questions like "What are all the prime numbers below 30?" because I can imagine she would fall into the "is 1 a prime number?" trap^^
Kiara's clever and Mel is a wild card. This is a suprisingly hard challenge.
Between Kiara's cooking and Mel... *being Japanese,* I'm honestly surprised that neither of them knew Miso, Tofu, and Soy sauce are all soy-based foods.

The realisation on why she wrote garden bird hit me so hard i was stunned then rolled laughing. Somehow it never crossed my mind that is what niwatori is. Sasuga genius vampire
Niwa can also mean "yard," so if she'd used that one, she'd have gotten "yardbird," which is an actual word for chicken.

a hilarious thing would have been if Mei answered Ñ, a letter that's only used in Spanish and its derivatives, but still be a valid answer.
and since in the Spanish alphabet it precedes O that could give them the ruling of saying Kiara answer was technically wrong
I love these shows, they're always so creative and funny!
The "letter after N" segment had me in tears from laughing! This was a really good idea for a show.

I felt like that question was honestly really easy as a European. It's just such a recognizable cultural heritage site that I find it weird the japenese girls didn't know what it was.
I mean, Europeans colonized the place and the continent is in the US's back yard, so of course we get taught about this stuff. Japan, on the other hand, never got involved in South America in any real capacity, and is an ocean away.

This episode was both adorable AND hilarious! I'm already partial to seeing the different branches of Hololive do things like this together but the fact that they even scratched the surface of the differences in cultural knowledge was really fun. Hearing all the JP members sing the alphabet song incorrectly in the same way to come to the same wrong answer and then be shocked was the highlight of the episode for me, personally, because I've heard them sing the song incorrectly in pretty much every clip that's existed of one of them trying to sing the song and I feel like they had a revelatory moment when they actually sung it correctly for the first time.
Funfact: In this video, all four of the girls wore twin tails... (Kiara's sort of different, but still 2 tails)

Ohh, I did not notice that! Kiara does have a twintails hairstyle, but it's stuck to her kimono outfit (too formal maybe?), so maybe it was intentional?

最近気づいたんだけど、公式の企画配信アーカイブに英語字幕が付いている場合があって、字幕の内容を見た限りでは自動翻訳ではないっぽい(違ったらスマン)。
以前は1.5倍速くらいで視聴していたのを、今は字幕付きの通常倍速で見るようにして、英語学習の教材として役立てている。

Was a cute Video, more of it please. And Tenchou was pretty smart, as expected.
To be honest, the questions were all actually simple to answer. Even the ones they decided to not choose.
And this quiz video proved one thing:
Mel-san is the punching bag in quizzes like this.
“How many days are there in a year?”
While 365 days is correct and the norm, let us not forget about the leap years which is the only times we will get 366 days.
Edit:
I think Mel-san (again), Lamy-san and Kanata-san have to take English lessons with Calliope.
If we get really technical 1 year = 365.25 days but since thats inconvinient we have one extra day every 4 years (since 0.25 days x 4 = 1 day)

It’s because of Julius Caesar taking 1 day off from February.
And yes, they round it off to 1 day every 4 years.
@@stevekim9662 Or to be even more specific, since for every 400 year we have a year that can be divided by 4 but don't count leap year, it should be 365.2475 days.
@@chnet968 its actually the other way round, if a year is divisible by 100, it is not a leap year, unless it can also be divided by 400, meaning and 1600 and 2000 are leap years, while 1700, 1800, and 1900 are not.

Es un juego genial porque no sólo juegan las participantes, las controladoras también xD Aunque Kiara debe haber odiado que la hagan esperar entre cada pregunta.
