YCDT killed it they were clean, sharp, fast, and creative. They were head hunters they came for Kayla and the DD and they got them. I love DD but they got they ass handed to them on this battle. Best battle I ever seen.
Further ass whooping came to the YCDT in the form of the Creative category that they expected to easily win, but did not. DDs killed their Creative routine. The stand battle was great because both teams were battling. DDs were not sitting on the floor observing the battle, they participated and almost won....watch the episode the judges thought it was very close for different reasons. Go back and watch the judges. That is what matters the scores....the battle score was close.
Sophia LaMar Yes, ma'am I've watched this episode 3 times, and YCDT kicked their asses all over town. DD they are a great team I'm not taking anything away from them, but YCDT they were giving me life. Hush puppy was so on point from start to finish. Their synchronizations was damn near flawless. From the minute they walked out onto the floor you could tell they meant business. Hell... even their walk was mean. When they did that little step movement as they walked out I was oh shit they ain't playing. Ever girl was on the floor was fierce you could see it in their eyes. DD were shook up, and you could see it on their faces that they bought a pocket knife to a gun fight. They weren't ready for YCDT Dianna knew it too that's why she made that face on the side. The judges said they were battling hard, but it wasn't even close.

I just wanna make this clear, the girls of the Supastarz are not from privileged background and also don't attend a performing arts school. They are picked up and trains just like the girls of the DD. The girls don't even have their own dance studio like the DD, they practice at their highschool. Miami Northwestern, which is also one of the worst high schools in the city, located in the heart of the hood. They are taught different techniques including they styles of Majoretting (but under the name of Golden girls) I'm from Miami nd this is how all the dance teams are taught, to put on a show as soon as u walk out, so to me its not arrogance. At the end of the day this was a good battle, different teachers give different results so hats off to both teams.
Angelina Darius that’s not true, they were renting out studio spaces, if you watch their show “Step It Up” Traci states that she rents out different studio spaces while paying rent for her new studio which is under renovation

@@smartkidslose I posted this 7 years ago lol and at the time they did not have a studio. The studio is about 2-3 years old. And MOST of the students are from Liberty City which most would call an "under privileged" area that's why I said that. Being that I grew up there I can understand the stigma put on the students so that's why I made that statement

The YCDT purple costumes look phenomenal on stage! Wow! Those colours POP! This type of dancing really isn't my scene but I appreciate it still.
I'm a DD stan but enjoyed watching YCDT perform. They're both talented teams in their own right. Kudos, to the coaches, parents, and their support systems. I appreciate seeing our young ladies doing something positive and productive with their lives. Keep up the great work!
At the end of the day, there is always someone whose going to be better than you! Miami is the better team. Period 😝😝

I think the purpose is to bring this style of dance to the attention of the world. This show is everyone's platform (Dolls, Elite, Tigers, Superstarz, etc.). Great job everyone!
In case you didn't know, Dianna actually invited YCDT to the show, as per her twitter TL the night this aired. I just wish we could have seen the whole battle - the fast and the slow stands. These seem like medium stands.

Idk if you guys know but all the girls on ycdt been dancing since they were young basically prodigies of dance. Both teams were great. You win some, you lose some. The show would be fake if they won every single battle or only showed the teams DD beat. I fully support DD4L but they met their match YCDT deserved the win. One day YCDT will be on the losing side to DD or some other team. Its reality of competition!
YCDT has already lost to DDs, they lost the Creative category to them. It was a win/loss for both teams.

Why they cut out that girl death drop lol that was one of the best parts and this was one of the best battles of the last two season. They did their homework on dd so now that dd know what their style is maybe next time they'll do their homework.

They (YCDT) have tons of attitude and from my point of view, it's not like they blew DD out the water. I will say, that stand was hot, but it's nothing DD can't do themselves or top. Both teams have great choreography and obviously great instructors. I would like to see more of them.

Im JUST Joking Since most of the stands YCDT did that were presented on the show were based on the DDs stands. I would have to agree with David Ross; comment. I believe that is one of the reasons the judges thought the battle was great, and the score was close. Judges like originality, not just technique.

No they weren't they did 2-3 of DD'S moves to throw at them everything else was Florida style. The under estimated YCDT becuase they assumed they were ballet type girls. They are NOT contemporary hip hop. Contemporary is one of the styles they do just like Camryn. Stop making up shit.

I have looked at this episode about 30 times. love the All Stars. Makes. me proud. I still love my Dancing Dolls . Too me it's not competition. It's showing skills. The teams are fabulous
I love the dancing dolls but those Miami girls are extremely talented. The Superstarz brought it this time
Love what each team brings to the table, but the Dancing Dolls are still my favorite team.
Superstarz did an amazing job and I won't take that from them. They surprised a lot of people in a good way. At the same time, I thought the coach was EXTREMELY cocky, rude, disrespectful and had no sportsmanship. She isn't setting a good example for her dancers at all. It's pretty clear that she came to the competition to be on the show. If the Dancing Dolls weren't on TV, she never would have went. Plus, she made a stand toward one girl? That is so messed up and immature on her part. This show is about being positive, not arrogant. Also to that coach, what makes you think anyone was trying to scare you and you had to prove a point? You aren't performing, the girls are. Have a seat. I'm still proud of the Dancing Dolls for receiving 1st place in creative dance, but maybe if Ms. D put as much time and effort that she did in creative dance to stands, they probably would have won in that too. DD4L!

This Majorette/Hip Hop form of dance is such a creative and important form of cultural expression and I think it is tremendously important for these children. I appreciate this show because I realize now how important dance is to these kids, some of whom don't have other forms of creative outlet. I can't believe how much of the creative arts have been removed from public education. It's actually infuriating; and scary for society. I like that this dance style teaches self confidence, self discipline, how to take criticism, how to be comfortable in and celebrate their bodies in a world with a ridiculously rigid and Eurocentric standard of beauty. Girls all over the world like this are definitely beautiful and show know that. Under the right guidance, coupled with self-discipline, I think it's healthy. I wish I would have taken dance as a teenager; tween/teenage-hood it's such an awkward transition into womanhood. This form of expression seems to uniquely celebrate that transition. Again, with the right guidance and parenting in the perverted world that we live in. I don't think the dancing is perverted as much as society is. In my opinion, their intention is not to seduce but to celebrate strong feminity. The competitive 'stands' are fun too. It's like a sassy conversation. This new Miami team seems to represent a new 'polished' form of the art; or maybe a more formal, infused form of dance education. The choreography is so tight and they have such amazing technique. Maybe there are more doors opening; more sponsorship, more opportunities, more schools for kids....the sky is the limit. These two battling teams are really good at what they do! The fact that the Miami team actually studied the choreography of the dancing dolls in order to show them up is a HUGE compliment to the foundation that the dancing dolls have laid down so far. I haven't seen the next episode yet, but I hope the dancing dolls are flattered and motivated to step it up!

The other team beat dd fair, but im not shocked i love dd but those girls are privileged to better training and to me their not majorette while dd is a community recreational team do mostly majorette Type stuff. besides kamryn not many other girls on they Team have Training in other styles of dance. So to me im proud of dd because they vele their own. In the end the Other Team brought more originality that day.
I'm from Miami and unfortunately Diana got something wrong...the girls of team are just like the DD and are NOT from privileged background nor do they attend a performing arts school. These girls are from the inner city and don't even have their own dance studio like the DD they practice at their highschool, Miami Northwestern, which is mainly known for their football team. And if u guys look it up this school is actually one of the worst highschools in Miami. They are picked up and trained just as the DDs are, different teachers bring different results. And the girls of the SupaStarz also do majorette style (but for the school) they're called the Golden Girls nd have videos on RUclips. Overall the battle was a good one but I don't like that many ppl say it wasn't fair because the girls are "privileged" when they're not.

Well you better tell that to YTDC because some faces were disappointed, just as DDs faces were disappointed regarding Stands. Both teams deserve from us their fans for their efforts and wins not to be diminished or questioned. Both teams worked hard, fought hard, lost and won. Moving forward.

Okay so let me get on this video since there's all this talk, the Miami coach which her name is Ms.Young used to be my dance teacher! She is extremely good and a great teacher I know her and all her girls personally they're all my friends and they are not really cocky they're very humble they just did that for TVs to make it interesting but after the show was filmed they took pictures with dd4l and everything and was nice. But ycdt is the best when it comes to a hip hop dancing battle squad they're costumes are different and they're stands are to they have alot of technique and training energy and facials. Dancing dolls wear those same ugly sequence coustumes and dance wild with un pointed toes so all of you that talk mess about ycdt saying dd4l is better obviously doesn't know anything about real dancing 101 .

The Dancing Dolls gain respect by competing against teams that are good. Who wants to see the trials and experiences of a team that wins all the time, that gets old. Perhaps you haven't been keeping up on current events....the Dancing Dolls have been booked all summer across the nation, because they have a huge and loyal fan base. They also gave performances at the Essense Fest this summer. You best believe Coach D knows what she is doing and the show and team will continue to grow in dance ability, popularity and respect. And on that note....the Dancing Dolls won "Creative", as they should have, and according to the judges that I watched....the Stand battle was close. Who am I watching next week....Hmmmm...Dancing Dolls on "Bring It".

I'm team DD4L but those Miami girls brought it. I hope that Diana considered the criticism those judges gave her team last season. Being inner city doesn't mean you can't be a polished dancer. The DD4L girls are going to run into a lot of different judges, all of whom will have a different eye for technique. Make them point those toes and shake up the system with different styles of dance.
Definitely top 10 fiercest things I've ever seen.
I am usually biased for DD because so many of the teams that go against them dance kind of the same & i can not really tell so i think they are better but this is the ONLY TEAM IN THE SHOW that straight up MOLLY WHOPPED DD✨
Love my home team they rocked their dance as always ! Mrs. Young-Byron did her thang ! Both teams put on a very exciting show !!!
Both teams did a good job. It's just both teams prepared for different things, focusing on one and neglecting the other. DD prepared for creative dance and YCDT prepared for stand battle war. So that was kind of Ms. Dianna fault she focused too much on creative dance and not creating new stands. Tonite she did the same thing, lucky the other girls bought there B- game in stands.

I know haters are gonna say well the dancing dolls did that to the prancing tigerettes. However, in the episode with the MJ inspired routine they did stands that didn't copy PT and they still won. I do like the style of the Supastarz........on them. It's nothing I see myself doing but I surely didn't count them out from jump so ain't nobody bias here
you'll must be young.. its not that serious… its just tv.. the supastarz are good but the attitude that was thrown off was disappointing.. i don't hate anyone or the teams. its entertainment. i love seeing young black people doing constructive things.
Maybe snotty is a better word. I usually like the other teams the DD compete against, except for that team ladies of excellence, for some reason I don't care for the coach or girls on tv, they could be nice people in real life but not good tv personalities.

What annoys me about the whole thing is the head coach from the Miami team mentality. THIS is all I heard in my head as to why she wanted to personally battle DD. "I take performing arts students ,whose has been training for years in different style of dance, to battle young woman who has had less formal training , lesser skills and a different genre of dance to show we are better. Because...we are. AND I dont wanna compete against another team with my EXACT same credentials so Ima pick on a name i hear alot because obviously we must equals right? Right."

To be honest, The best of the best, Can take on ANYONE, So you shouldnt be complaining, Dianna has been wanting new competition all season, AND She got it, If she wants to keep calling her team The best of the Best, Then she has to be ready before they even walk through those doors.
I am from miami so I have heard of them before. I follow as well just not as religiously like I do DD.
They dont even dance the same genre. One is majorette hip hop the other is contemporary hip hop. All I am saying is come at a person with the same credentials. I aint mad tho DD held their own. The best they could've done was tied.

I agree. I would love to see a fresh new routine. But I mean Mrs.D admit herself she focus more on the creativity dance than the battle. They were under prepared for the battle. I understand having ure signature dance/routine but have a comeback if somebody attacks its. Thats just me.

Well although I'm a DD4L fan, I will say that YCDT did bring it that day and sometimes you don't win them all nor do you lose them all. This shows Miss Diana that she didn't bring it up enough for this particular crew. I think she was just as shock that day, as we were watching at home. Lol.
Honestly the YCDT Supastarz did the most when they entered the floor. Now I can say that both teams did an amazing job its just the Supastarz have more potential and attitude then what dancing dolls have. Like what Mrs. D said every team has different things, dancing dolls have things the Supastarz dont and Supastarz have things the dancing dolls don't. All in all they did wonderful. Thats why I like this show because they don't win all the time. Its a win some lose some. If they won all the time it would make the show boring. But at least you guys won something. Congrats to both teams

this was a very close and intense battle for the dd like i keep watching this because of how good this was. the supastarz came at them hard but its nothing that the dancing dolls cant do. i can come up with some many stand to throw right at their faces just like they did to the dd. for example. the supastarz kept putting thei legs up in the air every chance they got dianna can come up with a stand that can be used against them
The dancing dolls are so amazing when i grow up im going to be a dancing doll baby dancing dolls and dancing are so good i watch the shpw every day it comes on keep up the good work i love u ms d u the best
