As a Tottenham fan, I can never thank Rory enough for his unrelenting effort to jinx Arsenal all week.

How could you say Bayern at Allianz isn’t football heritage that Arsenal came against? I think everyone is just overestimating where Arsenal is at now and underestimating who Bayern truly is regardless of their domestic performance.
In our worst season in almost a decade we were one game away from winning a trophy while in their best season in almost a decade they bottled the champions league and the league (again!!!)

Wonder what game Rory saw there. At no point did Arsenal dominate the game at the Allianz. There is a clear difference between having more possesion and dominating, its about goal attempts, and Bayern had more in both legs. Even had more possesion overall and in the first leg as well.
I know some don't watch foreign football and think sun rises in Liverpool and sets in London but truth is, even though this Bayern team does not perform well in the league and the players failed to become a real team under Tuchel, man for man they are simply better than the Arsenal Squad.
Saka is not a Vini Junior and Declan Rice not a Xavi nor an Busquets yet. Bayern has Musiala, Gnabry, Sane, Coman and Kane in front of them. A Kimmich and a Goretzka, and still a brilliant Neuer at the back.
It's just premier league hype again and again and again.

As an arsenal fan I think our season is over as I don’t think we have the mentality to regroup and recover. I think this game will haunt us for the rest of the season. As a fan I’m struggling to see how we get over this bump. It’s happened 2 years ago, last season and now looking likely for this season. I think city drop points but I feel we draw a couple games from now. I think it’s done for us

I have to agree with you as an Arsenal fan. Just like Villa at the weekend we played well in the first half but dead in the second with poor mistakes.

Uncomfortable conversations need to happen. Arteta needs an upgrade on the wingers as they are VERY replaceable. Martinelli has 0 IQ, runs into blind alleys. Just a kick and run merchant with bad technique. Saka when it really matters disappears. Everyone tells me about his G-A, I’m all about the eye test and he isn’t that good to what he’s being rated at, at all. Basic winger with no skill. Don’t get me started on Havertz lol. One of the many overrated players by our fanbase, guy that no right foot and not clinical. If they wanna do well in these competitions to actually win it. Many signings need to be made. Arsenal need to cancel the Raya signing as he’s on loan. Scrubby keeper always makes me nervous. Don’t know Arteta’s fantasy with small keepers like him and Ramsdale. The reason why Arsenal won't win every game till the end of the season is simple:
We had an amazing run in January, because of an extended break in Dubai. Right now, this team is out of ideas, tired, or simply not motivated enough. It happens, and what fixes it? ROTATION. Squad depth.
Unfortunately we still don't have any squad depth, and rely on Havertz and Saka to play every single week. It's not happening.
Over the two games Bayern did create the better chances. Arsenal had more control and looked more comfortable on the ball but in areas where Bayern allowed them to do so. They made two horrible mistakes in the first leg and got punished for it and they lacked urgency in attack. Also Bayern hit the woodwork three times so if anything Bayern could've won by maybe 1-2 more goals

That team isn’t bums. They are a good side and have alot of talent. Kimmich is a veteran. Kane is a veteran. Goretzka is a veteran. Musiala is one of the best players in the entire tournament currently. Martinelli wasn’t gonna beat those defenders. De light is a freaking giant. We don’t have a striker that threatens serious center backs. Jorginho isn’t good enough. Our back line played well. Our attack was weak. All their team had to do was mark Odegard and pure entire system shut down. Look at the game again Odegard is marked by multiple players at all times!

Terrible analysis. Arsenal did not control the game at all. Controlling the ball does not equal controlling the game. It was a close game but bayern never really had to press the gas. Still over two legs, bayern were more dangerous in attack, created more chances, and were comfortable throughout.
