I asked the very same in an earlier story today about a guy who forbid his wife to attend her own father's funeral because she'd "abandon her duties". Controlling freak of a husband.
Gosh , if she wanted to stay with her parents a couple days, he should enjoy being home alone and take his daughter out to dinner. This is the reason why women shouldn't quit working when they get married, plus they are working for a eventual retirement
As they were married more than a few years, she's legally entitled to claim part of his retirement-at least the part from Social Security. Even now, I could go after my first husband's SS benefits as we were married nine years. I chose not to. I was a stay at home wife/mom at his request. 🙄
@@Andrea.S.Alvey12 yes but it helps if you work , even with a retirement from her job she can still get some of his and she can live better. A friend of mine gets money from the airline her ex husbands retirement but it's a very good thing she has her own because what she gets from his retirement ends when he dies
@@Andrea.S.Alvey12 it's true. Surprised all of us when my dad died and mom was told his first wife could claim them instead. And since before he died mom cashed in her 401k because they were moving and he was really sick, SS claimed that one cash out meant she made more money than he had before he died so she couldn't claim the benefits. It's all kinds of f'd up really.
THANK YOU !. for once the wife didn't disabuse the crappy husband of his delusions.. she didn't tell him about her being the one getting the inheritance.. it always irritated me when the wives tell them. as it seemed like the wives were trying to make the crappy husband's stay..so I'm glad the wife just let him believe whatever he wanted and didn't tell him anything that would make him reconsider the divorce.
Girl, next time check what kind of man your soon to be husband is. It's one thing if he hid his hideous side, but if he already showed it yet you still chose to marry him, you only have yourself to blame.
Im laughing because im so angry on thid wife's behalf. If my husband ever told me i couldnt go into MY house, id blow the door in. Oh, id get his stuff ready for his trip, id shit in his suitcase. And id leave him alone alright, right after smacking him in the face with a 1 inch thick stack of divorce papers.
It's cute that these nitwit husbands seems to think (wrongly of course) that they are somehow in charge of their wive's lives and that their wives are too stupid to know what's really going on.
Usually in these stories I find that the “don’t come back until I specifically say you can” thing is usually a unique way of saying “I’m having an affair behind your back and I can’t have you coming back until my affair partner has all their stuff together and not a single thing is pointing towards another having a promiscuous relationship with me.”
Even though I’m not with my ex I even took care of his dad last year when he was dying of cancer. More people need to be better. I know this is fiction but shit like this happens.
What confuses me the most is: why does the house need to be cleaned every single day??? Dust doesn't grow an entire inch overnight, what the hell is the problem if you don't clean for a day or two. And allergies or weak lungs are almost never mentioned in these stories, so there's even less reason. Constant house cleaning just seems like a control tactic.
He is a failure all the way around. Getting a divorce sooner wouldn't have screwed him as much as now. Can't figure out why he thinks he's worth 3 of the 5 million? Even if he hadn't been cheating his portion would have been 🅾️. Where does he get off thinking he's entitled ❓Glad he's gone, as wife and daughter don't need him.
