I remember recently I saw a developer interview and the dude said something along the lines of, “yeah we have an animator that does crazy stunts himself”. Then they showed a clip of you and I was shook! I knew you worked on games but I feel like Thirsty Suitors is a big deal! Congrats!
Thank you so much for showing these guides!!! I am absolute trash at the skateboarding parts, so this is extremely helpful. Still need lots of attempts, but this at least shows me what I should be doing. It was my only big issue with the game was that I wished the accessibility options were more helpful with the skateboarding goals. Like a longer timer on the challenges and a slower loss on the combo decrease, not just auto running only 2 levels (but those WERE extremely helpful). I know some people think that makes games too easy, but for people like me who physically have a barrier to entry having early-onset arthritis, those quality of life options make things actually possible.
Glad to hear this video is helpful. Doing quick-turns while on rails would also keep the combo meter up. And the modifier button also doubles that. So, on a single rail(or wall or zipline),going back and forth twice would add 8x to the combo without even having to fiddle with the left stick. Hope this helps further with those scores
I love this game SO much but man, I really should’ve bought it on any platform other than switch - a couple of these challenges are seemingly impossible on there, like “2 wheels on wheels”, because of the lag the system has 😢
Honestly feel like an accessibility setting of being able to map skate tricks to the d-pad would solve a lot of issues/make it easier to work around the switch’s lag!
Thank you for playing. There’s some input delay with some wireless controllers. Does playing in handheld mode help? The game should also accept early inputs. Try pressing jump way before landing on that last set of spinning platforms. Hopefully that helps. If not, 2 wheels on wheels and Spinning platforms have an easy path to the right before the last section. It won’t be an s rank but it’d at least get you some unlock rewards
Optional skating challenges are by far the hardest part of the game. At least they're not all required for 100% achievements/trophies. Hopefully this video helps with finding 15 of the easiest challenges
You are an absolute lifesaver, thank you for this.

Thank you! Thirsty Suitor is a multiplatform(consoles and PC) game I've worked on for a while.

@@bubbabubbapopI wish I could use the D Pad on the PS5, the input on the joystick for me is wonky.
This is probably a stupid question, but where do you go to start the challenges?
soundie, in the middle of the skate park
I might be an idiot but I suck at the skating minigames.
