Rangers desperately need to win the league for that CL group spot & the money that comes with it. They are currently spending outwith their means again, it is unsustainable without that CL money. This game was not pretty on the eye, Rangers created very little & relied on a couple of howlers from the Don's GK & were very fortunate not to concede a pen in the last few minutes. Aberdeen offered very little going forward, but they do have a class striker that can score from scraps & he is way too good for the SPL.
