Thanks for this. love the idea. One of the things I love about the Alex drawers is how wonderfully smooth they slide and close. Does removing those second bearings cause it to lose some of that silky smooth closing action?
Thank you. It does make them a bit more loose for sure, but it is worth being able to get right into the back. Even if just a couple of drawers are done this way.
I watched a video from someone who used elastic bands to extend their drawers out, but I would reckon your way is more permanent. Thanks for sharing 😊
Ours is still going strong. Thank you for the support 🥰
I wouldn't do this if you have heavy stuff in your drawers, that cheap metal will just end up bending.
That's a great point and something to consider before attempting. Ours are filled with Lego and so far so good. 😊
mine stay in with one straw about half way in the drawer so I just took that screw out and they open all the way, even come out.
Good stuff😊. Sounds like there was a design change somewhere along the way.

Just watched your video and as soon as your husband started talking I knew your were fellow Canadians! 👍🥶👍

Manitoba born and bred, strong in the arm and weak in the head. 😄@@SheClicksBricks
@@bobrussell1957 🤣🤣 Don't forget the warm heart. Manitoba has some cold winters.
That we do...but it is a dry cold and if you dress properly you can live up to 5-minutes.😬 @@SheClicksBricks
Good Stuff
Thank you 😊
