I have been conversing with a friend who plainly told me, her dress code can't fit into Adventism, and in that, I partially agree, because they really adorn themselves well (Ministry of repentance and holiness, Kenyan folks know this) but the way we embrace modernism is worrying. The truth we have, but many have locked doors for others. Up to date, she is not ready for the message.
At the look of things, someone is missing the message. I think the message in the song is so powerful than the braids, makeup and the apparel....am glad i focused on the message not the messenger.

That's not biblical teachings...God wants us to be the light to the world, we are not to be conformed by the world so that how life can preach than our words..... It is a nice song with a nice message but poor appearances of the message givers.
I feel sorry about the comments. In almolst 7 years I came to KCC when we lived in Uganda. The best experience was the message from the choir and I still have the pleasure of listening to their songs many years after. I don’t see all the things you critizise. We are all on our way to Heaven, for some there is things to overcome. Please do not judge them, because we all have things in our basket to deal with.

I do believe that Christians should be modest in their dress. You can't represent the great God of the universe and come before his presence immodestly dress . Not talking about those who are just coming to the Lord and doesn't know any better who God will eventually teach how to dress before him . Jesus said come out of the world and be separated ,he said if you love the world and the things of the world you can't be my deciple, therefore you can't come out of the world and yet still be dressing like the world , there has to be a difference . With that said I don't see any thing immodest about these people appearance , yes the dress could have been a bit longer but it is not overly short either and I have seen many of there songs and they were wearing very modest dressing and look quite appropriate .

The fact that they sing nicely doesn't exempt them from obeying the word of God on Christian dressing and appearance. Painting, bleaching and wearing of short and transparent dresses that exposes our sensitive parts only present you to be appreciated by the people of the world not God. Many preachers of the Bible today have stop preaching Christian dressing to their congregation...they are more interested in the money the congregation will give not the salvation of their souls. Lucifer was a great musician in heaven before he fell yet pride made him to fall, so all serious minded Christian's should be careful not to think that because they can sing well God is ok with their lives. Listen to me... you can preach well and still go to hell, you can prophesy and still go to hell, you can be a teacher of the Bible and still go to hell and so it is you can sing nicely and still go to hell. The only thing that will keep one from going to hell is HOLINESS... without which no man, (whether preacher or singer) will get to heaven.
You can also wear decent clothes and still go to hell. And be modesty does not pave your way to heaven. And the group portrays good attire and uniformly dresses. I don’t see what you are seeing that is non Adventist.

Deportment as a SDA is totally important. Our dress speak whether we are of the world or on Christ's side.
Someone perhaps visited one of our American churches and decided to copycat the appearances they saw.
