You're a great teacher i play eight instruments for over fifty years. I'm now serious about my harmonica. I already know theory and improvising but you make it easier. Thanks
Yesterday my father-in-law, my son and I played some songs together on our deck. What a blast. What fun and mostly thanks to you. I am finally beginning to find songs on the harmonica by ear. That is progress. Thanks so much.
I coincidentally stumbled across Mitch’s RUclips channel today. How i didn’t know about him I have no clue. This guy is an amazing musician and great at explaining things and easy for a beginner like me to understand. Im stoked! Im signing up for the lessons so I can get my musical journey seriously on track.
Mitch you give some really good lessons here. there's a classic Little Walter Moore kind of sound I kind of call it honking back and forth or rolling it's on this video right here straight from the get-go it begins with it. do you know how to get it to do that as far as back and forth so quick or have you done the lesson on that cuz it's one of the coolest blues sounds ever to me I love it when it rolls like that. this of course would be Jerry portnoy playing the harmonica on this last release from muddy King Bee 1981. ruclips.net/video/oHowqKYSXNI/видео.html
Hey Mitch, I can't seem to get the 2 hole blow just right. It sounds very airy and ruins any tune I'm playing. All of the other notes sound just fine. Is this something to do with my technique or is it something to do with the harmonica itself? Thanks for the videos, they're extremely helpful!
I saw a tip in another video that helped me. To determine if your harmonica is busted you should cover the holes on either side of hole #2 with your fingers (so cover holes 1 and 3). And then literally just blow straight into hole 2 while your fingers are covering the other holes and listen to see what 2 sounds like. If it sounds normal, then it's your technique. If it sounds bad, it must be the harmonica. Hope this helps
Wo wo sir finally I am wait for this yeeeeee here is 4 lessons yes .... but sir I have tremolo 24 holes harmonica so these chapters right for me???????
Sir why do most of the harmonica player these days I don't hear the likes of playing the sound of harmonica playing like Richard Hayman with soloist of the Victor Young orchestra. Please sir, I want to hear from you
Never thought I would be getting such a great lesson for free on RUclips, thank you so much.
Thanks Soren, I really appreciate that! 🙏

If all the other notes are definitely fine, including the 2 draw then it is your harmonica. 🙃

The blues harmonica has become more and more popular . I think in time this will bring people around to players like richard.

Unfortunately anything from 5 up really gives me chronic feedback in my hearing aids..
