I'm at a loss to explain how I can feel chills watching the Lynx's casemates open... Even now, *decades* later. Pretty sure that this was the only ship-to-ship fight where I was genuinely concerned that I'd lose.
The Lynx had the "Magic Cannon" than let her cast offensive spells as cannon fire sure but, she had no special attacks like The Gigas or the other admiral ships did...
Probably one of the fights that can be pretty tough when not prepared for it. The Gigas does require more focused fire to prevent the hits, but the battle with the lynx is more of defending and heal when you can. At least you can take her down with the Harpoon Cannon in one hit if the lynx doesn't defend.
Seeing where the Harpoon Cannon struck right through the ship from behind, the damage seems to make sense. It could have hit straight into the engine. That's just me though. XD HARPOON CANNON, ACTIVATE.
In regards to the gigas, all you actually need to do is hit him once before the yellow turn ( when he is gonna fire) and he'll miss every time. When fighting the Lynx, what I would do is increm immediately in the beginning of the fight, and use gear grease and quicka. Keep increm up the whole fight, or you will most likely die.
As much as i love Skies of Arcadia, this battle is BS, i can't even get access to the "3 Canons" upgrade waay before battling the Red Gigas because the ship sparepart shop always tell us to come back later.
@SAGEFLASH Yeah, I was afraid that the GC version would fix that "bug". That said, however: you can beat her with just the Little Jack's main guns, it just takes a little longer. Just prioritize defense over offense, and above all: DON'T. TRUST. THE LIGHTS. Tricksy, Admiral Belleza is. 😅

1:00 the way the music hits and the sound of the Lynx's gunports open up and cannons ready-up is something else. This game was phenomenal

She was such a pain in the ass to fight at first.. I was like FUUUUUUU when i got hit by her cannons and the torpedo.

That is so broken......Then again, it is piercing the entire ship, so I guess it makes sense.

you have a computer? use that with Dolphin emu and the game's iso

you just gotta learn when to heal and when to attack, it's a super fun fight
