I'm new to photoshop and learning from you I did the same project as you did, it was awesome thank you, but the problem is my pc opens the psd file in photoshop can't open the file in the gallery... why is that?
Thanks for such an amazing tutorial! One quick question...for the last step, when I used the brush tool to create the spilt effect, those "spilt drops" on my work were in light grey colour instead of the background image as shown in your tutorial, could you please help?
it's 2 years later and i can download the files just fine. you must be doing something wrong. they are RAR files. you need winrar or some other decompressor
Tutorial's dope, but that selection was really ugly and lazy, like you compleletly missed the girl's legs and with some refining, this would've came out a lot better. But it's not bad at all, I'll definitely look into more stuff like this.

yeah how is it in mask mode already on when the splatter brush tool is used towards the end
I think it may be because the mainnn background is White and the brush tool is black

@@MMessygirl At the time of using brush make sure that OPACITY is 100% + The FLOW is 100 %...Hopefully it wud help

You drag'n'drop like a noob. The High Pass step is totally unnecessary you can use Smart Curves for that
