Wow !!.. Al minuto 11:24 c'è una 'swingante' versione de "The CAT" di Jimmy Smith, suonata da un altro organista. Buon Ascolto! Good Listening !! ;-) mm'65

Thanks for posting. Not heard this for over 30 x years! lol
BR's 'pedal lines' on THE CAT are not harmonically correct! Not sure if it mentions this in the sleeve notes, but I later found out the drummer on this track was Chris Karen.

monsterjazzlicks True, but there are a lot of correct ones in there too! Can you play that many bass notes like that? I can, but it makes your left leg ache after a bit!! :)
I think most Hammond players who play The Cat seem to rely on bassists, or have to play left hand bass.

Andrew Gilbert I can play good LH bass. I can play 1 x octave pedal-board fairly ok but I can't heel/toe on a full board. ie Just spinet rather than church type.
In any case, this is the only version of 'The Cat' I have heard in my life where it is played in 'swing'. I much prefer this feel to the 'straight-8' versions.
