It blows me away when I watch stuff like this. Just amazing the depth of knowledge and creativity some people have for Power BI. What this video highlights to me is the limitations Power BI has in terms of re using components like measures and visuals. Hopefully Microsoft is taking notice of this.
That ending. That's how I feel when I go back and look at models I created in the past. 😁
Stay on until the end for a great demo of how it all comes together :)
Awesome application of Brad Frost's principles! As another Atomic Design fan, it I great to see more people embracing what webdesign has to teach us in the data field. Outstanding video. - T, from Data Rocks.
Glad to see you here, and thanks so much! That means a lot coming from you.
Great methodology! Love the ending!🙂
bravo ragazzi! This is a super important video and subject. I will try them on my projects.
Good video. Part 17:19 was also very instructive.
wait a minute... how did you get the Create A Jupyter Notebook external tool in your Power BI?!
Great video and communicated well - love the D&D books and dragon (right hand side) and Dax book on the left - lol ending
Kurt is the Data Goblin after all. 💚
Top content, as usual.
I'm excited for this series of videos! Thanks again.
WAIT UNTIL THE END LOL🤭
Loving this!
Great, thank you
very helpful ! Would like to learn how to use the tabular editor
The Tabular Editor documentation has a lot of videos (and all the basic features are also in the free Tabular Editor 2 version):

Interesting concept
This is excellent. I would assume that the PBIP format and scripting could help overcome the limitations you pointed out when using the visualization library approach via a PBIX copy/paste?
Yes, eventually, this will be key.
I want to see this guy smile😂
Some day
This is golden!🎉
Thank you, Jesus 👋
That's just Kurt. ;)
When I heard “atomic” I thought of dimensional design principle of bringing in data at the most detailed level. Transaction level instead of aggregation at Day level. Let’s see.
It's based upon a known methodology from UI/UX, whereby something complex is made by combining simple building blocks that you can apply as components to new solutions in a modular way.
Grain, Granular, or Granularity are the phrases I think of when reading your description. If a table is more granular, it has more details (like order and line number), if it has less granularity or a larger grain size, then it is more aggregated (like to the day level).
