@@Dedbread608True. I have 80 FPS on Ray Tracking with everything set to max on my 4060 TI. Ofc, Path Tracing is a making my game run at 40 FPS, but it's still very hard to run it on GPS that arent 4070s 80s and 90s with smooth 60FPS

@@Dedbread608 I dont have Frame Gen on, and i have DLSS set to quality, as well other things. With Frame Gen, i have 120-150 FPS everywhere.

Especially 4070 due to Frame Generation.

@aaz1992 it's not just the resolution, ray tracing and path tracing are very demanding technologies, you need at least a 4080 to run it at 4k 60fps

If its 8gb version, at 4k its out of vram. Try it on 1080p. I can play path traing at 70-80 fps with framegen and dlss

@@sprucius She is flat in Ray Tracing because most of the global illumination in Ray Tracing Psycho comes from Image Based Global Illumination meanwhile Path Tracing uses "ALL" light sources as global illumination, no Image Based Global Illumination at all.

I dont know why they still make 1080p cards when newer AI features dont look good with 1080p they should make 1440p minumum and mainstream Furthermore 4060 laptop is trash for me never goes over 80 watts I have a 140w version so frame rate always dabbling at 60 or less

After 60 fps I can’t see a difference
30 to 60 is noticeable but after 60 it’s just a flex 😂
You're the rare people then. Most would be able to see the difference up to at least 120 fps.
People who can't see the difference above 60 fps are just as rare as those who can see past 200 fps.
My phone has 120 hz screen and it is awkward as heck to watch at when I turn its config to 60 hz to save battery
I can notice a difference up to ~280hz you may have some brain lag going on

This is why I use a 4090 @1440p. Runs CP2077 path traced with or without DLSS, though DLSS Quality does allow me to cap fps so GPU does not have to work too hard.
@@user-jr5zw1gp5n shows what you know. There is no point of chasing 4k unless your nose is touching the monitor. Otherwise, 2k is the sweet spot and achieves 'retina' ppi when choosing the right display size and sitting distance. goofball

I play on 55" 4K TV.
Haven't tried CP2077 at 4K ,but 1440pDLSS Quality + RT Reflections.
Settings:
Depth of Field,Motion Blur and Film Grain OFF.
Other Settings matched Ultra Preset except for Medium Clouds.
looked mostly fantastic at 2.5 - 3 meters distance on my 3060Ti.
Framerates perhaps weren't super high,but feel was as if it was perfectly smooth .
Had no problems enjoying the game in that regard.
Had to sell it few days ago,but when someday I get GPU again,perhaps it shall be 3060Ti again.
Or 4060 since it's quite a bit cheaper and matches 3060Ti in Raytracing

Sadly DLSS looks horrible in this game just like RDR2. I use DLAA + Raytracing on my RTX 2080 super + frame gen

Yeah idk about you but a 1080 ran this fine. On medium high settings. (32g ram prolly helped alot.)

I have the 4060 in a legion 5 pro. Got that hooked to a 1080p ultrawide with hdr on. and this game runs so smooth on ultra settings.
Looks amazing. Never have any issues.

Thing about 4k is its really not ready for gaming. 1080 was the standard so long that people forget that games were stuck at 720 for a very long time before they got to 1080. 2k is great and honestly unless you have a huge screen and sit close to it you won't notice the difference.

I've an Msi 4060 Gaming X 8gb and the reasonable doubt is clearly the hilarious amount of vram in case of RT, yes, but RT Ultra in combination with FG at 1080p is playable since 2.1! same in case of dlaa. it's just no 4k PT and clearly no 1440p card. but at 1080p it performs good and more important dead silent in all game i have.
Path tracing is VERY VERY good at showing "MAJOR" details specially in the first part of the video

Honestly CP2077 with RT, DLSS-Quality, & Vsync on 1080p is enough for me. Anything above 60fps isn't big of a deal to me.

@@Sync874your out of your head. The 4080 is 50 percent more powerful than a 3090. The 4070ti and 4060ti compare to a 3090. Nice try but when you get to top two 40 series like the 4080 and 4090 there’s no longer any 30 series comparable.
Let’s see the 3090 play cyberpunk with Ray tracing and Path tracing on ultra settings. It would flatline. Even CD Projekt Red said path tracing is for the 4080 and up. The 4060 isn’t even built for 4k but 1440. I’m surprised it’s getting this much FPS
At 4k? yeah it would. Luckily I only have a 1080p monitor and it handles path tracing at 1080p fine in Cyberpunk just fine for me😂. All ultra- cranked with path tracing DLSS on quality. I also play a lot without DLSS and Path tracing off but all ray tracing settings at max. @@brandoncook8300
It chuggs even on todays bleeding edge GPUs. It's gonna be a while till PCs can confortably run games with native path tracing support, and then the next wave of gaming innovation will be GPUs that can handle PT as wellnas full real-time physics rendering to give more weight to characters and assets without that classic "bethesda look" with clipping.
Fun fact the 4060 isn't meant for 4k gaming it's budget 1080p gaming

So glad i got my 4090, can run this on max settings with path tracing at 80 fps
4k is doing to much damage to the FPS. You need a upscaler. Either buy a 4k Gamer Pro and leave the resolution on 1080p. Or buy Lossless Scaling and leave the resolution on 720p windowed mode to double the fps in 4k.

I can do full path tracing on 2276x1227 with ultra setting dlss and frame gen and get like 120-140 fps
I have a 3060 and with ultra retracing get about 40fps don't know what's messing your game up.
Its in 4k dude not 1080p, 4060 does 90+fps ultra + rt ultra in 1080p

The thing that make me laugh is that the majority of people that praise ray tracing use 100-300$ monitor without hdr or with fake hdr. With an Oled or mini led monitor you have a better image overall even with RT off

All i know is on my Rog Strix advantage gaming laptop, i can play it on ultra but the most i can get is 60fps.
I’d love more fps because although it is smooth as butter there are parts where it might hiccup and drop to 50ish.
But overrall the game looks fantastic and it feels responsive.
But hey if anybody knows of ways to boost this on the tech i got i am all ears.

I use 1080p for games like that because it’s a better experience with 180fps and 1080 ultra than 4k high and getting 10fps

Path tracing in Cyberpunk is basically ray tracing with more light bounces. Real path tracing would take 1-5 sec per frame.

Path tracing makes light to behave exactly as it would in real life. It is extremely demanding on the GPU, and in some scenes, it might look worse than ray tracing. It could be due to poor performance or too many shiny objects in the scene that break it somehow.

Just just show us how cyberpunk 2077 might of fixed the bugs that people were running into but a game with basically the same graphics on my phone runs better and my phone is an iPhone 12. It’s an average phone.

Я конечно не смотрел какой fps дает игра у меня, благодаря хорошим характеристикам компютера, но Панам Палмер такая красивая, ее так прорисовали(эх была бы такая в реальной жизни..), что хотелось бы роман в игре с ней, но я играю за девушку(озвучка на русский язык девушки просто забавный) и вроде бы роману не быть, только если играть за мужика.
