Aries’ speech about non-comedians in comedies was really moving. And it was more than just that, too. What he said about making all the right moves and ticking all the right boxes but it still goes the wrong way was really relatable. Great interview.
They had other fish to fry, so Bobby wanted to stay serious and didn`t wanna get silly right away and brush over all the issues!! That`s at least what I think

This episode just fed into my inner child so much. As a kid who grew up on MadTV and has been both a Aries and Bobby fan since, this shit really made my heart smile. Seen both live and both are incredible to watch. Thanks for the laughs.
Bobby and Aries comes from 2 different spectrums with their own set of struggles. They brought it to the table during this episode of airing out each's dirty laundry. I can sense that Aries has had a more challenging journey from his responses and I get that Bobby is sensitive to it but I also think Bobby is failing to empathize completely here which sucks because Bobby was having the same struggles that Aries keeps bringing back up about a Dozen years ago before Khalyla came around. Aries has talents that far exceed some headlining performers, and despite him having his own tours and podcast, I hope this episode exposes him to newer audiences that'll open other doors for him.
This was actually one of the more refreshing episodes in recent memory. Bobby and Aries were great together. Mad TV was my childhood so this one really hit home. 👌🏼
Meeting Bobby Lee in person at the comedy store within the last few days and seeing this podcast which is easily top 3 ever, just made my entire month😊
I was a PA on Mad before joining the Army. It was after Aries had left but Bobby was still there. Bobby was so nice all the time. He even got me stage side seats for his stand up at the Store when I had a date. Partied at Paulies house above the Store as well. My mother has directed the Groundlings all my life and I’ve been around comics forever. Some are nice and others notta so much. Bobby was always so authentic, funny and sweet. I hope I get to share stories one day with Mr Lee. I struggled with opiate addiction for years and resonate with the struggle. After Mad I joined the Army infantry and went to Afghanistan. Life is so crazy.

THIS episode is gold. Aries Spears is a legend man. He needs his own podcast. These are the episodes we need from TB lol Correction: I’m subscribing to his podcast 😂😂
Guess I'm the only person who feels otherwise. I never liked the guy, he's not really got any success for a reason, and despite all the issues Bobby has, and hes got a million, I feel like Aries was wrong across the board during their discussion in terms of behavior. He just keeps talking about how hes a straight shooter and hates phony people in the business or whatever, sounds like he was a dick and unhinged and Bobby wanted nothing to do with him but he held a grudge and forced his way on. Nah, fuck that guy.
@@ElatedBlowfish oh yea I totally get what you’re saying. I’m not justifying rotten behaviors I’m more coming from a place of nostalgia and watching them on mad tv and their comedy sets. I could get into analyzing people but for me folks in the entertainment business are just that, I love their entertainment and skill in the art form and what they provide me within that lane. As for backstory and behind the scenes I’m sure there’s issue to work through but we all have our short comings and stuff. I don’t take life advise from those who are my favorite entertainers and for good reason lol I mean comics alone have shitty upbringings and issues so wouldn’t be wise to take advice from them. But if they did a movie together or tv show I’d def watch it bc I love their comedy.
Really love this interview. Was such a fan of MadTv. I would crack up when Bobby did the whole Korean soap opera skit. Hilarious and Aries is just awesome! So happy they came together on this.

Aries’ speech about non-comedians in comedies was really moving. And it was more than just that, too. What he said about making all the right moves and ticking all the right boxes but it still goes the wrong way was really relatable. Great interview.
loved seeing this, two men who have grown to a level that they can admit their wrongs while moving forward is a beautiful thing
Was Ken Jeong right to assault Bobby? probably
@@julioenrique8552lol
Different energy, but this is what we wanted out of that Mencia pod
This us nostalgic for me, grew up on mad tv! Didn't know these 2 had drama, glad for podcasts to get background stories on our favorite people!
The fact that Bobby didn't want Aries to do his impressions shows insecurities until he did it and crushed Bobby's unnecessary wall he had up.
They had other fish to fry, so Bobby wanted to stay serious and didn`t wanna get silly right away and brush over all the issues!! That`s at least what I think
Didn’t really get that impression, Aries brought up the impressions thing in a non-organic way which set himself up to get shut down. They’re there to hash things out not show off.
@@bigheadrhinoexactly lol it’s obvious coming on this show was important to him. N Bobby knows the main reason he wanted to come on and squash things was to get in front of this audience
Love this raw and honest conversation. More of us need to have conversations like this.
Thought this would never happen…..this is what you call growth. 👍🏽
Growth would be kicking khalyla off the podcast

This episode just fed into my inner child so much. As a kid who grew up on MadTV and has been both a Aries and Bobby fan since, this shit really made my heart smile. Seen both live and both are incredible to watch. Thanks for the laughs.
facts bro!! same here!!
It really warms my heart to see u two on the same set again. I grew up on MadTV and have never enjoyed TV as much as I did back then. Great episode
Your correct but EMPATHY is VERY DIFFICULT for Everyone else to have Toward blaCC Folks
I think Bobby did a good job empathizing. Just me though.
This was actually one of the more refreshing episodes in recent memory. Bobby and Aries were great together. Mad TV was my childhood so this one really hit home. 👌🏼
I saw Aries a few years ago in NY. I didn't say much, but he was nothing but respectful.
Fiercely underrated, one of the funniest comedians around 💯
This was a great, golden moment/podcast!!!!❤ Love them both. Many years in the making.
Love this! Mad TV was such a big part of my childhood. This reunion is what I needed to see!
I can imagine Bobby and Aries screaming at each for an hour and then hugging like brothers after they get any negativity outta the way.
Golden episode! Happy for all of them. Bobby and Aries are hilarious! Really a dope thing to seen 👊🏻👍🏻🙏🏻
Meeting Bobby Lee in person at the comedy store within the last few days and seeing this podcast which is easily top 3 ever, just made my entire month😊
How was he in person? Sounds awesome
@@davidledesma1331 he was himself just like how you see him here😎
@@AllTimePodawesome. I gotta see him live soon
Bobby is the best at approaching awkward situations…he literally unties and unravels feelings n hidden tension
MAD TV was brilliant. Aries was HYSTERICAL. Key and peele, Bobby and so much great talent came from the show🎉😅❤😂
Best episode Ive seen
Seeing Bobby and spears together again warms my young teenage heart ❤️ so happy to see them laughing together again
fr brings me back and bobby and aries were huge to me as a teen/child brained mad tv days - now I think of it these 2 are big reasons i am a comedy fan , I only watch comedy since a child - im 91' so IDK how old I was for Mad TV but i LOVED mad magazine cuz i had a bunch given to me as a kid so to me that show was #1
MAD TV AFTER SCHOOL! GIRLS GONE WILD COMMERCIAL LATE AT NIGHT! Damn were old LOL time flies

These two have an intense intimate kind of chemistry. They would make a great partnerships type movie arguing, conflict kind of film with a comedic edge.A love hate relationship but one cant get a mission accomplished wiithout the other.Sort of like the chemistry on this podcast.
LOVE THIS!!! Good to see them together. Also...I dig the bucket hat, Bobby!
THIS episode is gold. Aries Spears is a legend man. He needs his own podcast. These are the episodes we need from TB lol
Correction: I’m subscribing to his podcast 😂😂
He has a podcast, utd it's called spears and stinesbirg
This has restored my faith in sketch comedy! I needed this
My all time fave guests has been shattered yet again! Well done guys. This was a great show!
as a big time tigerbelly fan. Replaying episodes etc. Even the audios. And knowing some of the beef, I live for this !!
Really love this interview. Was such a fan of MadTv. I would crack up when Bobby did the whole Korean soap opera skit. Hilarious and Aries is just awesome! So happy they came together on this.
😂😂😂 I loved when he was on Madtv and he did the Survivor skit as Connie Chong. He kept trying to get freaky with Jeff Probst. That shit was soo funny. I always thought Madtv was more funnier than SNL. Madtv always made me laugh out laugh. SNL NEVER did. Don't even know why they are still on. Madtv needs to be reboot. All the characters was on point. I loved Aries,Bobby,Ms Swain OMG loved her ass 😂😂😂 and Stewart and his mom and Debra the most. They were my favorites.
A much needed Tigerbelly episode! I love seeing the MadTV cast together and individually! They're all powerhouses in their own right! It's good to see growth in the world. 😊✌️
yo Aries! You are one of my favorite performers ever, thank you for doing this podcast.
I’ve been waiting for this reunion for a while. Fans of both comedians since day 1 and both podcasts since day 1. Love you brothers! Do it AGAIN! Aries deserves all the SHINE!
I randomly clicked on this podcast and it was excellent. Made me want to watch more. Great job
seeing Aries do a Shaq impression brought back so many MadTV memories. ❤ damn I miss those Saturday nights watching the show with my family.
Haven't been able to watch most these episodes lately but this one had me absolutely glued the entire time!
I've always been baffled with the lack of Aries in the entertainment business. He's always been so hilarious! I hope nothing but the best for both these icons that made me laugh every Saturday when I was a child.
Because he has absolutely zero filter, his comedy style is more suited to personal crowds where he can interact directly with them
He kind of a piece of shit i.e. no filter. He thinks his opinion is the only right opinion.
@@GothtidesLike Dave Chappelle but he's just to unlikeable and used to tell the same jokes all the time. People got bored of Aries and he still haven't learned his lesson in life. Chapelle sits and smokes a cigarette and everybody is glued to his every word. 😂
Edit: BTW, I can see why Bobby doesn't like Aries. Bobby likes Black people but dislikes ni**as. Aries is definitely a ni**a by the way he behaves and Bobby doesn't trust him because of it.
@@Gothtidesda no filter part makes so much sense with that skit video him and tiff made lmao yeah personal crowds only phone really put a dent in stand up culture
aries is the other patrice. boatload of talent. zero people skills and restraint. seems he's finally figured out the game tho so he can get reinserted into the matrix like chappelle. too bad it's at the end
Bobby's 3rd point was totally downplayed by Aries. If Aries had to continually play black waiter number 2, he would of felt the same way as Bobby and if Bobby said "just shut up and play it" Aries definitely would of felt a way about it.
Love both these comics.
Aries’ impressions made me love comedy even more and pursue it myself.
