I like studio ghibli too. ghibli movies are really popular here. Even though japanese culture was kind of avoided in my country ghibli movies were an exception Even teachers played these movies to kids my favorite ghibli film is My Neighbor Totoro too. And I think kiki's Delivery Service is definitly a good one as well your reviews are awesome. have a good night
I am familiar with some of the history between Japan and Korea - I practice ITF Taekwon-Do - and understand why all things Japanese were avoided a lot. That being said, it is great that Studio Ghibli films still have big popularity in many countries. They have this timeless quality, I feel, reminding us of how it's ok when life is just about simple things. Life nowadays is very complicated 😅 Thanks for watching and leaving a comment, have a nice week!
@@flyingwiener8946That's really cool that you practice taekwon-do. I tried to learn taekwondo few times but it was really hard. I'm not very athletic so that's really impressive. now japanese culture is not very avoided here. people are very kin about learning japanese. There are many sushi and ramen places. I don't think it's avoided at all. It's only in the past. the thing you said is very true I think. yeah life is very complicated thank you for replying
@greatsubti0328 I grew up with Taekwon-Do and just today told children in my class about Ahn Chang Ho and the statue of him in South Korea, which I hope to visit and see for myself some day. So I have a natural interest in Korean history and the things we can learn from it even today and outside of Korea. It's great that relations between South Korea and Japan are better nowadays and I'm sure it's also difficult for Japanese people to examine and think about their past. I'm British and regularly think about the difficult British history and the bad mark we as people left on so many countries. Don't worry about not being athletic, the beginning is hard whichever sport or fitness regime you start with. Strength, flexibility etc. is built over time. As long as you get started and keep at it your body should improve. I keep at it as well, the journey never ends 😅
