I believe the retirement crisis will get even worse. Many struggle to save due to low wages, rising prices, and exorbitant rents. With homeownership becoming unattainable for middle-class Americans, they may not have a home to rely on for retirement either.
Got it! Buying stocks during a recession when prices are down could be a good move. You might get them at a lower price and sell later when they go up. Just do your homework and be aware of the risks before diving in!
@@YinusaSaheed That's awesome! Investing in stocks with a reliable trading system can lead to great outcomes. It's fantastic that you've been working with a financial advisor for a year now. I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

Why don't you mention the residency requirements for each country? In most cases you have to live in the country for six months a year to keep your visa active. It makes life more complicated than you think. And why don't you discuss the difficulty of adapting to the high heat and humidity?

We're looking at Cambodia and Philippines as retirement options and will be visiting Cambodia in November and Philippines early next year to get a feel for the respective lifestyles. Any medical comparisons available on these two countries, perhaps?
If you're gonna retire in the Philippines, just stay away from Metro Manila... Well there are a lot of good things in Metro Manila, but a lot of bad things too. I'd suggest like what the video said, either provinces or cities outside the Metro Manila, like Cebu. Pampangga area seems good too. Somewhere around the old US Clark Airbase, or Zambales. But in general, if you want a chill life, live outside the Metro Manila area. Haha But if you're into the city life, then you might need to cough up a bit more. $2,000 a month should give you a pretty comfortable life in the Metro area. But in general, people outside the metro are nicer.
Hello. I was looking into Digital Nomad Visas here and in neighboring countries, but I have learned that we would be better off applying as retired Americans. Even though I still teach online, it's only part-time. Are you retired? How did you apply as a non-EU for residency? Are you an online teacher here? Your thoughts or advice? Thank you! Dean
Costa Rica - sucks - w/o fluent Spanish & serious cash ! --- Uruguay also requires Spanish & it's expensive !?! --- Too many Spanish speaking countries here ? - - - Cambodia is a great place for over 55 retired expats where English is enough and they accept the USD ! > The others are not as desirable for 'retirement' -- except for the Philippines !!! - - - 3 years of searching the world for a cheap ideal retirement destination - as an English speaking US citizen - led me to the Philippines - and - perhaps Siem Reap Cambodia. Many are there already enjoying life on $800 -- $1000 in many different areas of various islands.
The Netherlands is a wonderful country but to become a citizen you’ll have to denounce your current citizenship, with some caveats. Look on the official government website for Dutch immigration and it will explain the difference between gaining residency by living in the Netherlands vs living in Caribbean islands that are Dutch.
These countries that offer CBI should reject any applicants from pariah nations….russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, PRC, Syria, and a few others…due to terrorist / religious extremism, overt human rights violations, etc…
