I always wear my shrinkers when I’m not using my legs. Prosthetist says to, I DO IT. I’ve only had my legs for seven weeks, but I can do everything but run and jump high. I’m working on getting a pair of blades in the near future. Great vidya btw!
Hi Annika My name is Walter, In October 3, 2023. I had surgery lost both legs Below the knee, I was taught to wear shrinker socks and YES they are Important I can tell you In Canada Shrinker socks are around 80.00 Each but with the right Insurance there a lot less. Thank you for the video.
can you make a video showing your everyday prosthetic foot setup and which feet you use the most and the reasons why.. also could you explain and show the quick change adapter set you have for your everyday leg and how you can switch out the feet fast for different activities with out having to realign your heel height etc.. t thanks for all your videos.. find them very helpful and inspiring.. fairly new BKA here.. thanks
Thank you for your advice. I had my right leg amputated above the knee in January AND I don't have a shrinker. Was told it was because it was "not healing properly." Thank you for your videos and for your service.
Hi Annika my name is Yiannis and I am a right below knee 16/11/2021. I'm a bus driver in Vancouver Canada. The irony is a got hit by a bus. But I am back and driving and thanks to you I find the right foot for driving, the adjustable heel.😮
First time my shrinker was put on over a fitting plastic cone I fainted from the pain, 2 days later tried again and wear it constantly when not using prosthesis.

Textbook definition-! Thanks for being strong! How long did it take you to start driving again? Did you get an adaptive pedal?
