    Thanks for this video, it’s a great way to do it! A customer wanted the same exact panels installed and I totally borrowed your technique 🔥🔥🙏🏽it’s at a daycare so I didn’t want to use staples or anything like that.

      I thought would be helpful for others in same situation. I’m renting so couldn’t use staples either and took a while to find a hack but worth it! 😊

    Hi nicely done, intending to copy it but where do you use the screws ?

    • @roxana89
      @roxana89  10 месяцев назад

      They are locked in place with a nut, it should be quite visible in that animation I made, and what that created is a form of hook for hanging the whole thing over a fence that’s about 5cm thick. Couldn’t find any hooks for this particular situation so DIY’d mines! :)

    I didn't catch exactly how the L bracket plays a part. What do you attach it to?

    • @roxana89
      @roxana89  Год назад +8

      Hi, the brackets act as hooks to go over the fence (which is about 5cm thickness) as I couldn’t find any hooks to buy to fit that so I made this little hack. Is my option to avoid damaging the fence with staples as it’s a rental place 🙂

      @@roxana89 Jesus this is a year old but wouldnt those screws then be on your neighbors side making it look kinda ugly from their end? I had thought about doing something like this but didnt want to upset the neighbors.

    • @roxana89
      @roxana89  3 месяца назад

      @@jeeerb3645 good point, but in my case on the other side of the fence is a business of commercial air conditioning units, their drivers bother me more when they wake me up with loud noise at 6:30-7:00 am from them loading the vans 2 meters away from my bedroom window.
      So I guess this method will work when you don’t have an actual residential neighbour next door. I am also renting so that’s why I had to find a way where I didn’t have to hammer nails in. If I was owning, I would have done that, is just some nails in a fence. But clearly can’t risk it in my situation :)

      Ordered from ebay - artificial green wall
      There were listings in sets of 6 pieces (cheaper obviously than buying single piece) and initially ordered 1 set to see if they’re good and then ordered the rest. 1 piece is 40cm x 60cm so you just have to work out the area you need to cover 🙂

    • @roxana89
      @roxana89  2 года назад +1

      That fence panel was 220cm width by 180cm height and green pieces are 40x60 so I use 3 rows of 5 and a half green pieces each (they can be cut). That in the video was a total of 16 and a half green pieces

      I ordered the green panels from eBay, you have to search for ‘artificial green wall’ but do the research as some listings are priced a lot higher than others. Got them in sets of 6 pieces (60 x 40 cm)
      www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125261178135?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=lsNim2eySPW&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=kFcYadVdRNm&var=426292689003&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
      The fixing elements for hanging over the fence you can get from any trades store. My fence panels are about 5cm thickness so I went for 75mm corner brackets:
      www.toolstation.com/light-duty-corner-bracket/p43669
      Then just got some bolts and nuts (4mm thickness to fit the holes in the brackets).
      They can be hanged in other ways too but I just wanted to do it in a way that doesn’t require hammering any nails in the fence or doing any damage.
      Also used cable ties to get them attached to each other better.
