He didn't do that so whats your point? He was stressing how seriously a situation like that should be handled, it wasn't meant to be taken literally stupid.
Artie's football sidekick is silent for a reason. He knows the TRUTH about Artie and probably is fighting with himself to stay quiet and not risk his job by publicly outing him.
Artie really was in a good place around 2013 here. Unfortunately the relapse in 2017 really set him back a lot. Can’t imagine what it’s like to not have a functioning nose
Dr. Drew is so amazing, he's in touch how stuff happens even though he's not an addict. You would be surprised how dumb doctors are about it. I work in a doctor office with many providers and they don't get it.
Check out poor Artie, he is really in the shit now...a lot can happen in 4 years...and it did. I see him on his podcast and he can barely talk sometimes. I hope he makes it.
I had open heart surgery and my doctors gave me whatever pain pills I needed. But after two doses it made me vomit. To me the act of vomiting and the smell and sights that go with that was so much more unbearable than the pain which I knew mentally would get better with each passing day. But I feel for those people where the pain doesn’t get better.
Yeah can't remember who he talked to about it but once he did get clean and there was no money possible to get made off him Drew was calling him bi-weekly just to check in and help in any way he could and they became good friends.
Artie seems to be in a good place, speaking clearly, looks like he lost a little weight. Since Stern went to Americas Got Talent, his show has become stale and lame. Best Artie not be there anymore.
Yeah, talking about drugs and how to obtain them. I do agree that Howard has lost some edge recently, but he's 60 years old, and already in Eimus territory. I think he's ready to wrap it all up.
The only way artie will ever see the inside of sterns studio is as the wack packer that he's turned into. Artie is no different or better than Jeff the drunk. In five years he will be talking like Beetle juice pure jiberish.
The bad thing about a is it needs to be updated. The book and stories are not up to date and does not relate to life in this century. ..it just don't relate or make sense...they need to update it......and throwing the whole god and church thing.PLUS someone has to want to get sober. .you can force someone to go, but unless they are ready to quit, they wont...
It is weird that he went completely awol from all social media and the podcast just disappeared. Even though there’s no shows for him to tweet about since covid, it is Artie and unfortunately his fans have learned to assume the worst. Wish him the best though. This interview even is sad to watch, having dr drew on the show seems like a desperate cry for help.
YES! Haven't even watched yet, just excited to see this interview. Drew is the man.
Love artie and dr.drew both have helped me. tks
I like Dr drew. Nice and humble guy.
Dylan MacDonald yeah stashing heroin into your kids car is humble.
He didn't do that so whats your point? He was stressing how seriously a situation like that should be handled, it wasn't meant to be taken literally stupid.
He does more good for people before you wake up than most do in a month.
"they were supposed to last me 10 days... I took 10 in 8 hours".
hahaha
very Artie.
Man this was a good podcast / show. Artie shoulda continued it
This episode is very touching to me
Loved how Artie spoke of Colin Quinn. That's was great and clearly so poignant. Good guys, both of them.

Haha there are a lot of clueless meatheads in football, but Jon Ritchie is not one of them.
Stanford grad. He rarely ever got to talk on the show though.
Dr.Drew is a good person ..yes he does celebrity rehab but he's really a good guy.
Artie doesn't need Howard. At all. He is where he needs to be right now. Love ya Artie.
How's that working out right now in 2018?
Artie really was in a good place around 2013 here. Unfortunately the relapse in 2017 really set him back a lot. Can’t imagine what it’s like to not have a functioning nose
@@djansen2442 2022, working out fine.

Don't get it, or don't care ($$)?
Mike Starr: Bassist.
Is this the same Drew Pinsky Artie destroyed on Stern?
yeah i actually got to this vid after watching that, just to see how their relationship unfolded
Check out poor Artie, he is really in the shit now...a lot can happen in 4 years...and it did. I see him on his podcast and he can barely talk sometimes. I hope he makes it.
“The great actor Mike Starr...”

So I'm assuming these means they're over their beef?

Seems to be not one interview with the good doctor that has him up against the wall, not one!
Jon was great on the show.Artie shut up and listen
The great actor mike Starr !!! 😂 Artie ain't know who the fuck that was

John Doe ? Why so much hate? Could it be because your existence is sad and pathetic, and the little joy you have is from tearing others down?
I'm 23 I fuck with arty ..he needs better promotion !
Artie tried to do enough coca to keep dr drew from knowing he was on heroin

NA is a good place to find new connections.
Next time Artie , try chiropractic !
I think Artie is locked up now. I might be wrong but i think he is.

You know you’ve hit rock bottom when you associate with someone like Dr Drew
Dr jew
That host is terrible. My God !
