I had to replace 2 of mine. The area that the extender is connected to tends to break. They don't tend to acct that some drivers have hair. The hard plastic it's made from doesn't last long. If solar band was bigger or earpiece was retractable it'll last longer.
Ah sorry to hear that. I'm still messing around with mine. Def some pros and cons from other Blue Tiger headsets. What's the biggest disappointment for you with the SOLARE?
@@TruckNThings Truth be told, if you want this to be of full use, you need it placed lower within the truck so that it feeds off of direct sunlight whenever it can. The pros here is extended usage time, and possibly even leaving the truck only to get back to a fully charged headset after the weekend. It's not fast charging, nor will it ever be. With the right use however, it is great. This technique is still in it's infancy, the fact that we can do this at all is remarkable - and it will become better and better just as anything, both with effeciency and features from Blue Tiger.
Oh, forgot to add. Mine are typically facing the front with the headband. So it's basically lying on top of the dashboard, without obstructing my view. And yeah, it really gives me full charge each time I go to use it.

My new headset yea
Are we now "allowed" to actually see the solar cells on the left side. I saw nothing on the website.
It’s called read the directions lol 🤣 👍💯
how’s it holding up?
Still works great. Only had to charge it once.
Extremely disappointed in mine to be honest
